Really good location, the room was cozy and clean, the hotel is next to the metro station (Tiantong Road, exit 3). Breakfast was good.

Hotel staff almost don't speak English, and didn't reply on my requests here in chat and email. They also gave us a room on the 2nd floor with no view (view of a wall) - I requested a high floor with view ))

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was superb, a walking distance to The Bund and metro station. The beds were super comfy, firm and fresh. We slept really well during our 8 night stay. The staff was friendly and helpful although their English was so-and-so. We adjusted the temperature of the room to suit us and the enjoyed the classy style.

The location is great, right in a middle central district. Rooms are clean and well tidied, contemporary furnitured and freshly renovated. We were surprised by room interior Staff is helpful and affable, but they barely speak English. Breakfast was good but not excellent. Local cuisine is widely presented. If you like typical European breakfast, you can pick a few familiar meals like fried eggs and corn flakes. Various coffee drinks are available. Also, we tried a massage in the spa area, and it was nice. Summarizing all above, i would recommend the hotel to stay.

Everything was 99% perfect: - hotel location - near the Bund, near Nanjing road, near restaurants, metro, bus, non stop shops with everything you might need - doormen were all great but one of them was literally awesome. Our son was giving highfive with him every day, he always welcomed us, he helped us with the taxi and Didi cars, etc. Awesome guy! - rooms were cleaned every day - comfortable beds - air conditioning was strong and worked the whole day - the cleaning lady was not turning it off when we were away - good breakfast - friendly staff

A bit noisy because of the outside traffic - heavy trucks - but this was not so important for us, we managed to sleep very well. The internet was not fast but we used eSIMS - Mobirise so we managed to find a quick and affordable solution.

Amazing central hotel in Shanghai, very close to the Bund. The room was massive (junior suite) and very comfortable with amazing view to Pudong. Cleaning was also very good.

The breakfast could have a bigger selection for its price (±11 usd).

Very comfortable and clean room! Housekeeping staff were attentive to details and gave us additional toothpaste tubes & bottles of water when it was running out. The location was convenient as it was only ~5 mins walk to the nearest metro station, which has the 2 key lines needed to get us to central areas. The hotel is also just a short 1 - 2 mins away from the nearest convenience store (Lawson) and 12 - 15 mins walk to the central Nanjing East Road area.

Wifi was unstable, sometimes requiring us to sign in (which I was unable to since I don't have a Chinese number) but sometimes it is accessible without sign-in. No proper driveway, thus our Didi driver often drop-off / pick-up from the opposite road.

The room was spacious,completed with necessity facilities,the bed and pillows were super comfort.Location was near to the metro station(Tiantong Station) can be reached by foot.Staffs were very helpful and front desk staffs can communicate well in English.Thank you Golden Tulip..Definitely will recommend this hotel to my friends.

During our stay the minibar fridge was not functioning well but it is not a big issue for us.

Location was excellent. Room was modern, clean confortable and spacious. We had an iron ans umbrella, which came in handy on one of the rainy days. Subway station very near and only a short walk to the Bund area. Staff were amazing and super helpful. Overall a fantastic stay.

Beds were smaller than a double bed, which was dissapointing. Also, we personally did not like the amazonian glass in the bathroom as light shines through to the bedroom.

The room was nice and big and had direct view to the skyline on the other side of the river of the bund. Obviously, we were high up enough that this was possible because the building in front of the hotel is not short either, but on the 7th floor we could see the pearl tower perfectly. The location, for us was umbeatable, better than stay at the bund with all the people going around but close enough that we could go for a walk there at the end of the day. Breakfast was ok, it had both western and chinese options, which i like. The coffee was really good for a breakfast at the hotel coffee.

The gym was spacious but didn't really have much in terms of machinery. It was clearly an after thought and not much work was put into it.

We stayed for 6 nights. It was very good value. Room was nice, comfortable beds, good towels, well located, the whole atmosphere of the place was nice. We very much enjoyed staying there. We had breakfast on the last day and it was great price for the amount/quality of food.

Only to say one small thing, we had to wait for check in and check out. But not more than 5-10 minutes
