Great spot! We booked it because if it’s proximity to the metro, but the place itself was great!

Prior to heading to China I called up this hotel to confirm some details and started by asking if they spoke English (I asked in Chinese as I have some capacity to speak conversational Mando) and the guy at reception said “no” and abruptly hung up… which was strange. I must say, I was a bit worried that this would not be a good place to stay based on this interaction. - But it turned out fine! The staff were great and went above and beyond to help us with our needs!

The communication from the hotel was good - we were given the precise itinerary to get to the hotel, and it was very easy to find. The staff spoke better English than in most of the hotels we stayed in. The location by the metro station was very handy, with a direct connection to the airport, and it's just a few minutes away from the main pedestrian Street, Nanjing Road and from the Bund. The beds were very comfortable and we slept really well during our stay. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and shops/grocery stores too.

There were some problems with leaks - a fire escape door was not watertight, and the rain came in under the door and into the corridor, so there was a musty smell in the corridor. Also, the towels and bedclothes were left out in the corridor during our entire stay, along with some cleaning supplies, rather than leaving the corridor clear for hotel guests to pass by

It was a superb stay, Perfect location. 2-3mins only from subway metro - nanjing road east station exit 6 which is direct from airport, very near to tourists spot. walking distance to the bund. All staff was so helpful and friendly, they are always smiling that gives more stay comfortable. Clean room with everything you need , all toiletries are there.

It takes us time to find the location even if it’s near the subway because the pin location in google maps was confusing , and the reason is the hotel was inside and not in the main road

Convenient location. Basic room but all you need when travelling. Would recommend but check the prices. Ended up being expensive for what it was.

Being overcharged 🥲

We stayed in the two-story room which was very comfortably sized. However, due to the size and many compartments in the second floor, it must have be difficult to do a thorough cleaning so there's quite abit of visible dust. The bed was comfortable and heating is great. Acoomodation was also conveniently located. There's a street with many local food options nearby. It is also walkable distance to attractions (e.g. the bund, nanjing road).

Location, walkable to The Bund attractions. The hotel itself may be in a small alley, not so fancy. But it has good access to everything. Staff at the reception is very helpful and can communicate well in English. They have a cute fat cat in the lobby. Good value for money.

Not that I don't like but the bathroom has glass wall with curtains outside. Might be weird if I come with a friend for a family member.

Location was ideal - just a few mins walk to Nanjing Road and The Bund. Plenty of dining options nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. I booked the Deluxe Queen Suite which actually had 1 double bed and 1 single bed, so can comfortably sleep 3 persons. Staff could speak basic English and were super helpful.

The bathroom shower door could not close tightly so water leaked from the shower, There was a bit of a funky smell from the bathroom, but it was not unbearable. Price was on the high side but that could be because I stayed during peak period and booked at the last minute.

Rather large room with very nice bathroom. In addition to the bed and table, it had a little love seat (small sofa). The location is great; just a few steps to the MTR (lines 2 & 10 (exit 6)). About a 10-15 minute walk to the Bund. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The price made this a good deal.

The bed, while a queen size, was a 3 star hotel bed. Not bad, but not 4 stars either.

Location was excellent! It is just one street away from Nanjing Shopping Street which is also 7-8 mins walk away from The Bund. Metro is just 3 mins walk away. There is a lift, big lobby area and even a weighing scale for luggage. Was upgraded to a nicer room. Room was clean and free water given in room.

Water from shower cant seem to go to drain fully after shower. But it was not a big problem.

I really Loved my stay Here! The staff could speak pretty good english and are really helpfull. They allowed me to leave my suitcase there till my flight and they also told me i forgot Something in my room when i myself did Not think about it. The room was really big andcits near the Station so perfect Location
