The view from the room is breathtaking. Room is spacious, thoughtfully designed with local cultures and staffs are very friendly. Hotel is relatively near to the old town. The Breakfast offered comprised of local and international spread.

Beautiful hotel overlooking entire shangri la ancient city. Staff service is exceptional, especially Lhamo, Daisy Zhao and Dragon! They are very helpful and friendly and shared some tips about where to go, and gave free upgrade of my room (birthday treat). The room is very comfortable, and able to request for firmer pillows.

Great location near the ancient town, good view to see the night view of ancient town. Good breakfast with local specialties. Good view from the restaurant. Nice and quiet location while within walking distance to ancient town.

the location is absolutely amazing, on a small hill very close ro the city center from which you have the best panorama of Shangri-la. the service and the design of public spaces and guest rooms are top notch, with beautiful and conforrable balconies or terraces
the guest access to the rooms is very complicated and uses same paths for guests and for housekeeping

Was not that convenient to ancient city. Had to walk on roads with no sidewalks to get to pedestrian only area

Breakfast was good. Nice to have properly cold milk. Not quite as much choice as a bigger hotel. View from restaurant is wonderful. Chinese food good and reasonably priced. Very attentive service. Felt like VIP. Liked the hotel design.
Mistakenly given a twin room but quickly rectified. Bedroom lighting was a bit confusing. National Day holiday room price of RMB 3400 is too much. Should offer free shuttle to airport and local sights for that price! Maybe should offer guests a small oxygen canister. Music in public areas too loud and repetitive

Location is excellent on a hill with a view over the whole town.
For this price I was surprised there is no gym or even a small fitness centre.
