Charming and grounded without sacrificing service or comfort. The price for accommodation is fair when everything is considered such as quality of food, service, accommodation. It’s also relatively close to points of interest for leisure.

We often go to extravagantly luxurious resorts, where everything is brilliant and spotless. We chose this property to experience something different, and we were pleasantly surprised, it’s genuinely a nice place to stay. That being said, sure, there is room for improvements, I’ve read that the mattresses were too hard, in my opinion the mattresses are fine, the pillows however did not agree with me. I trust this has to be addressed at some point in the future.

Loved it! Nice room, beautiful eclectic hotel, food in restaurant was lovely. Lots of plants & flowers, lovely staff. One street away from a main road with shops. Hotel was in a tiny street that was very quiet, literally 20 steps to the Main Street.

Nothing I didn’t like, but I booked a room with a balcony so that I could smoke, so I had to book a bigger room. In reality every room had a little outside terrace where you could sit. Would be good to put that in hotel description.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel whenever I pass through Shenzhen. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The surrounding gardens are beautiful. The breakfast is excellent. You can eat at the hotel (excellent food) or there are many other restaurants nearby. If you need laundry doing, it is quick and inexpensive (50 CNY). The location is near a metro station - easy to get to the airport or Shenzhen Bay checkpoint.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect – tucked away in a quiet alley but also just a short walk from the subway station. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shenzhen.

The only downside to the hotel was that there were a lot of mosquitoes in the summer months. I would recommend that the hotel provide mosquito repellent in the rooms to help guests avoid getting bitten.

Good location ten minutes from Sea World metro connecting to airport and both train stations in 45 mins, plus plenty of lively nightlife, street food, bars and restaurants. Hotel is an oasis of calm with an outstanding restaurant very popular with local young professionals and serving a high class breakfast. Staff were very professional and welcoming, trying their best to get over language barrier.

Generally the building and the room are “tired” with bathroom and external features needing refurbishment. Structurally limiting (narrow staircase and no lift though thankfully only two floors) it doesn’t have “old world charm” either, though is a refreshing change from most inner city hotels’ the bland corporate glass & steel high rise.

The location is great, within 10 mins walk to subway station. This boutique hotel provides a quiet, clean, green accommodation, our room is on the ground floor, has a small sitting area in front of the room, it is a quiet sanctuary after a busy day. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly.

It could be better if the room is a little bigger to be furnished with a small wardrobe organizer, especially for multi-day stay customer.

This hotel is a quiet little gem tucked away just steps from the bustle of Sea World and the Shekou port. I’ve stayed here many times, and it has such a chill, homey vibe you can’t help but love it. Years ago, the western breakfast used to be charming in a greasy-spoon-diner sort of way, but now it’s truly excellent. Perfectly cooked eggs, sausage with a hint of curry, focaccia slices… Looking forward to my next visit to Shekou!

The beds are hard. What can you say; it’s a south China thing.

Great location, within walking distance of Seaworld with easy access to a range of restaurants there. Very convenient to have the Garden Hotel restaurant also at your doorstep, literally. Food is good in the restaurant, and the staff were always willing to help and support any needs I had.

It's not a big thing, but be aware that the restaurant will finish orders at 8:30pm Mon-Fri and 9pm on weekends.

This is my favourite hotel in Shenzhen. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by amazing gardens. The staff are really friendly, and the room is perfect - a good size, super comfortable bed, seating and working area, great bathroom. I've stayed here many times, and still can't fault it! The location is also amazing, 5 minutes walk into Seaworld, super convenient for the cross border ferry, and also easy for the Shenzhen Bay border crossing. The on site restaurant food is utterly delicious, and sitting on the terrace drinking coffee in the morning is the perfect start to the day. Looking forward to returning soon!

Nothing. I wish every hotel was as great as this one!

Room was comfortable, cool and it had everything you might need. Bathroom also was very practical and the shower was excellent. Ammenities complete! Excellent location. did not have time to try breakfast or restaurant but it looked good. Charming terrace specially in the evening. Sea world only a quick stroll away.

It was not that easy to locate as it is on a gated street, and I did not see any signs directing me to the property.
