We got an upgrade by booking.com. The room is spacious and with great view of the Tianjin eye. The room is very modern designed and have many special areas (dressing area, sink area, separated shower and toilet areas). The staff are very helpful and polite. The location is out of tourist area and it is quiet.

The room is really hot (above 25C) and can't open the window or lower it in any way. We have to open the room door to cool it down (even after turn off the heat). With such high temperature, the comforter is really thick. The sofa and curtain areas are not well cleaned. We moved the footer and found something under it, and it also caused my allergy of not well cleaned sofa or curtain.

The whole experience was awesome. Two young men helped me check-in very quickly although I had arrived late in the night. Staff tried their best to speak in English with me and were very happy to help. I got a room upgrade and was incredibly surprised to how spacious, clean, and comfortable my room was. It made me wish I had a longer stay. Breakfast was a good mix of Western and Chinese food that I still had not seen in many hotels here in China. During checkout, Lina, Sophy and Zoe were very sweet in helping me do it quickly once more. Hoping to go back soon!

I wanted to have stayed for a longer time. The only thing I would say could have been better would be the breakfast as it could have included some scrambled eggs or omelette. Overall, breakfast was at a much higher level than many hotels in China.

Good choice for European traveler. Some hotels in China may be quite a surprise for a westerner. This reaches a solid standard, for a reasonable price. The breakfast bar had many choices. The staff is super nice and helpful. It was quiet in general, no noisy guests. And the pool is actually swimmable. I can recommend as a decent choice for decent money.

I can only suggest to do vacuuming and deep cleaning under the bed and furniture in general more often. There was some dust visible under when looking under the bed or sofa. Also, from time to time in my room there was a noticeable cigarette smoke. Not sure if someone had previously smoked in the room, or the smoke was getting into the HVAC from somewhere. Knowing this is a general issue in China, I didn’t even ask for another room. I am sure they would offer a different one, if I tried.

A very good experience overall. Great staff, very helpful and demonstrating a real care for international, non-chinese speakers. Space, comfort, cleanliness, all is very good.

What could be better: although the building is non-smoker and this rule appears to be well-kept, there is always a small tobacco smell almost everywhere, including in the rooms, probably coming from smokers in authorized smoking areas (?) which must be propelled through conduits, ventilation system/air conditioning system. Croissants and viennoiserie/pastry at breakfast are not at par with the rest of the breakfast food, which is very comprehensive and diversified.

Extremely convenient, a very helpful staff that don’t save any efforts for you both at the front desk, the restaurant and room service. I have some dietary restrictions and at breakfast they spent long time informing me what I could eat, and more surprisingly the next two days the chef prepared a special dish for me with special care of the allergens!! It was so thoughtful and made me smile for the whole time of my stay in Tianjin!!

Nothing, only the location is a bit far from the train stations but there are other means of transport nearby, it is on a main road.

The hotel in excellent condition, nice and clean. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The staffs were courteous and helpful. We had hotel breakfast every day. We had many many things to choose from, traditional Chinese food and western breakfast. We enjoyed the stay.

The room is clean and tidy. It has a relatively large toilet area with 2 sinks. Breakfast was provided for the three of us which was included in the room charge.

The two single beds are barely enough to accommodate for 3 people so 2 people sharing a small bed could not sleep confortably.

This was my second time there. Absolutely great facilities, friendly staff, nice and very convenient room, very good breakfast bouffe, good location, very reasonable price. Warmly recommended!

The room is spacious, clean and comfy. The morning breakfast has a lot of choices for everyone.

The furniture starts to show some worn and damage, sofa seats show marks and need a dry clean.

Lovely hotel, although the facade looks ordinary, the rooms are excellent. Breakfast was sumptuous & and provided an excellent wide range range. The housekeeping & reception were very helpful & courteous. Keep up the great service.
