It happened so that me and my friend stayed at this hotel 4 times during our more than month journey to Cuba 🇨🇺, Colombia 🇨🇴, Ecuador 🇪🇨 , Peru 🇵🇪 and Brazil 🇧🇷. We chose Bogota as a hub for our traveling to Quito, Amazonia and Santa-Marta on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Advantages of this hotel. - Located very close to Eldorado airport (just 20 minutes ride by a taxi for COP 20,000-35,000 depending on the time, city traffic and weather conditions). - The neighborhood (Palermo district of Bogota) is safe, there are many different cafes, shops and pharmacies around). The hotel is separated from the street by a fence and guarded 24 hours a day. - Close to Bogota famous landmarks and city museums (the Gold Museum, the Emerald Museum, Fernando Botero Museum, the Military Museum, the Museum of Colonial Art, the Bogota City Museum, the Emerald Trade Center, the Montserrat Mountain Cable Car 🚠). - The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. - A safe and a fridge are inside each room. - Comfortable bed. - Sufficient pressure in shower in the bath room. - The staff is very polite and attentive. They helped us with keeping some of our luggage 🛅 in the storage room dining our travels to other destinations. Nothing disappeared during our absense. Also when checking out from hotel the last time the employees permitted us to be in the rooms some minutes more to enable us to collect the luggage. - When you have such a wish it is possible to order breakfast which is standard for almost all Latin American countries: a choice out of different varieties of cooked eggs, a tropical fruit salad, oat meals and cereals, bread with butter and jam, coffee and juice.

- The ceilings are very low so it was needed to mind them when stepping up and down the ladder. - The room walls are not soundproof enough and very often you can hear your neighbor singing a song in his room when taking a shower or your neighbors conversations when they speak loudly. - Hotel's ladder is not suitable for disabled people but, however, as I have noticed, they stay in rooms on the groundfloor. - An alarm system is splashing during all the night that hinders some people to have a good sleep overnight.

Reasons to book this AMAZING accommodation. 1. Firstly, it is very safe. Security 24/7, safes in the rooms and the reception is not open to the public. 2. The rooms are perfect, equipped with a TV and a stocked mini fridge. Not massive rooms but honestly, it’s plenty for a city break. 3. The staff are very friendly. Both receptionist, Bryan and Jesus the security guard were very friendly. 4. Location is nice but just to be safe, we took Ubers most places.

We had a fantastic stay at Palermo Home Bogotá & Art Gallery. The location was spot on, close to everything we needed, including great local restaurants, bakeries, banks, and easy access to public transport. It made getting around Bogotá a breeze. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The place itself felt safe and secure at all times, which really allowed us to relax and enjoy our time in the city. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated base in Bogotá.

The room was a good size with basic kitchen facilities, large comfortable bed and smart TV. The staff at the hotel were all very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping was undertaken daily to a high standard. The bathroom was well equipped and linens were good quality. It’s evident that the hotel has been recently decorated and is very well maintained! Location was quite far from some of the tourist spots but it was easy to get an Uber and the hotel felt very safe. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bogotá.

Very minor, but the drain in the shower was too small - with the shower on full power for a couple of minutes, it was in danger of flooding the bathroom. The laundry price we were quoted seemed quite high (9k per lb) however there is a service over the road that’s cheaper (6k per lb) so this wasn’t an issue for us. Again a very minor point - this is advice rather than a reason not to stay here!

We had a junior suite which had a large comfortable bed, kettle, microwave, fridge, plates etc. The shower was lovely and hot. The staff were very pleasant and there was good security. Breakfast for $5 was very good. The walk along Carrera 7 to the old town was interesting - part of it is pedestrianised. Lots of restaurants nearby - to have a change from South American food we ate at Cafe los Cedros - a small cafe lounge which served reasonably priced and delicious tapas and pasta dishes.

Low ceilings in room and bathroom and a fan would have been good.

- excellent attention and the staff was really great, specially the guard was super kind and provided multiple feedback - clean - great service, our room had a problem (shower locked which led to a flooding inside the room) but they immediately changed us the room

- the area didn’t feel safe, specially at night. We had to use Uber and taxis to go everywhere - safe box not working - place is not as shown in the picture. The place is much smaller than the picture ( literally like 4-5 times smaller)

My rooms was noisy. I assume other rooms do not have this issue.

Very spacious and comfortable room with an amazing shower. Very good bed too. Breakfast options are good and there's free coffee available all day. Location is good and safe, just a few minutes walk from parkway with all the restaurants available. There's a great replica of Pablo Picasso Guernica painting just round the corner too. Uber taxis to various locations around the city are very cheap.

No air conditioning but wasn't a huge issue

The hotel offers good value for the price. The breakfast is decent, though the selection is somewhat limited. Its location is convenient, strategically situated between Chapinero and the city center—which makes it easy to access various parts of the city.

Cleanliness could be improved, as the floor of my room was not entirely clean and I like to take my shoes off at the entrace.

Breakfast was simple but very tasty Staff was very helpfull The room was clean and spacious. The restaurants nearby were very helpful and even brought the food to the property.

The room was located on streetside, where are a lot of traffic, but earplugs helped
