We had an amazing time at Monte Tierra, the incredible hospitality of the hosts made us feel more than at home every day! We cannot thank Luisa and Alvaro enough! The place is located in a very quiet area in the middle of nature surrounded by beautiful landscapes, the pods are very comfortable as well as the bed too, the location is great (walking distance from Filandia). It also includes exciting activities in the lodging ! We highly suggest this place for a great stay in Filandia or region! Thank you very much for everything, it was great to meet you all and we hope to be back soon!!

Wow this place is amazing, it has different rooms and glamping tents available, the staff service and attention lever are exquisite, 5 star ! They received us in an excellent manner, offered coffee and juices while waiting for check-in, bhelped with luggage, explained the facilities. They have a sauna with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and valleys , they offer to do an outside fire place and gave us marshmallows, the brdakfast was served at the outside garden of our room and the options were wow...delicioous coffee and juices, fruits, acai bowl and traditional breakfast items, sanwich estc. I felt treated like more than 5 stars , the cleanliness is absolute om spot. The bathroom products sbampoo amd body wash are high quality products , everything was more than perfect. The room ahad a garden view and chairs and hamock to enjoy the views and tranquility of the place.

They offer a paid transport srvice to the city which is 30 min walk, 10 min by car which is a bit expensive, as the hotel is on a very remote area, along a road that goes around a hill, but neverthe less this is an exceptional retreat place

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazingly accommodating, friendly and caring. The room was spacious and as advertised, with a large comfortable bed and a unique outdoor bathroom we want to install at home. The view from the room was tranquil and the overall ambience was very peaceful. The grounds are very pretty, and we enjoyed the animals and walking trail. I wish we had more time to spend there.

Only downside is getting to and from the property if you do not have a vehicle.

Amazing place to relax and be in the nature. The glamping tent was perfect and spacious, the bed was super comfy, the bathroom was just outside the tent and looked amazing! The staff was super friendly and always willing to help. When we arrived we got a welcome drink. The breakfast was very good (choice of 5 dishes) and was brought to our tent every morning. The restaurant was open for dinner every evening and the food was just fantastic. Its a short Willy ride from the centre of Filandia or a max. 30-min walk. We loved it here! We will miss Rocky the dog!

we loved our stay at Ecohotel. the staff were so helpful. and accommodating. The rooms were beautifully appointed and the views from the room was magnificent. we had two visitors in the morning - a chicken and a bunny just outside our lawn. We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast, the bamboo forest walk and sauna.

The jacuzzis are only part for the glamping so hopefully in the future it would be the icing on the cake if they can install a comunal jacuzzi for the bedrooms.

We stayed in the Iglo named "natural" with an amazing view. But when I say amazing I mean 10000 out of 100. The service was top notch as well. They brought a DELICIOUS breakfast to the iglo, wood for the fireplace, blankets and even marshmallows. There's a path which leads you to the river, very nice and then there's the animals...we would have loved to adopt rabbit Toby, so cute.

It's a pity the mosquitos love this place...and my blood as well. Next time I will use even more of the repellent that they sold at the hotel. This was a tiny inconvenience and what do you expect from a rural place like this, right?

Exceptionally friendly staff, top notch (room) service. The surrounding is amazing (animals and views!). Rocky the hotel dog is a sweetheart! Beautiful spacious rooms and a great sustainable energy concept! 20-30 min. walk uphill to town. 10 min Willy ride back to the hotel.

Just a minor suggestion: as the food takes quite long to prepare (especially dinner), it would be nice to know which waiting time to expect as you’re sitting in your room not knowing when it’ll know on the door. It’s not a problem at all to wait for 45-60 min if you know in advance that it’ll take this long (so you can watch a movie or something in the meantime). Apart from that: perfect!

Gorgeous hotel/glamping location in Filandia! If you book here, plan to spend time relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The staff were incredibly helpful with every need you could have. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of private and shared areas to relax in. The glamping tents can get hot during the morning/day when the sun is rising but, they provide AC units and fans, which help. The rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable.

we really enjoyed our stay, the surroundings were incredibly peaceful with stunning views better than the viewpoints around the town. In addition to this, the food - especially the breakfast was delicious. This hotel really stood out as the best one out of the ones we stayed in during travelling in Colombia, what made it really stand out were the fantastic staff. It really felt like nothing we requested was too much, they were incredibly friendly and helpful and really made our stay special.

We wished there were a few more Colombian dishes on the menu, however the ones that we did order were delicious.

This is a unique stay. Staff was extremely welcoming and super nice to us the whole. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the bunnies jumping around in the morning, they're so cute!

Some comments mentioned it was okay to walk from the city centre... but if you arrive later in the day and it is dark, don't try. Get a taxi/Willie instead... It is actually far and there is no proper sidewalk or road to get there.
