This is my second time staying in this hotel. It is hands-down my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. It's amazing!! The rooms are beautifully designed, the views are fantastic, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. They have their own hiking trail on the grounds- the first time I stayed I saw toucans and this trip I saw some other unique birds I'd never seen before. The spa is also great- the massage I had was the best I've had in Colombia in 3 years. Perfect place to unwind and relax.

No complaints at all- this place is a dream.

The hotel is splendid and the room was beautiful. The staff is very kind, and staying at the hotel is a wonderful experience.

The room is very uncomfortable because it takes about 10 minutes on foot to reach it from the reception, and every time you go from the room to the restaurant or to the reception you have to walk up a very steep slope, definitely not suitable for those who have difficulty moving. In addition, there is no privacy in the bathroom, as there is no door and it is directly connected to the bedroom.

Amazing room and view.

I think they are understaffed big time. Had to wait nearly 30minutes when we arrived for someone to even greet us. The one restaurant they have takes a while to bring out the food or even service you. Not something you expect from a 5 star hotel.

This place is amazing. Excellent food, incredibly helpful staff and extremely clean facilities. The Highs far outweigh the lows. When booking a room like this, just understand that is is a subversive experience. You are staying in the middle of jungle life and all the good and bad that comes with that. Excellent experience!

This property has so many incredible qualities. I would highly recommend it as long as you are in good health for strenuous walking to and from the main areas. We also had 5 vultures daily landing on our hand rails and and creating quite a mess along with the fact we were unable to fully enjoy opening the sliding doors fully, which is what we had hoped in purchasing the highest room. Grand Master. When asking the staff for help, they brought us rocks to throw at the vultures. :) we made the best of it. Other than that... everything else was amazing!

Amazing hotel! One of the best we have ever stayed at and perfect for a romantic honeymoon. Everything was beautiful the spa and food were great. Facilities amazing. Room was secluded and felt special including all the necessary amenities. Free morning yoga was also a nice touch to take advantage of with beautiful views. We spent three nights and didn't want to leave! Would return for sure.

They had a private event one day which meant part of the spa was off limits. A few guests complained about that but we didn't mind as we used other parts of the hotel that day. However if you are going in the weekend worth checking about events in case.

Amazing views and setting in the rainforest. The spa was gorgeous. Loved the jacuzzi and the treatments. The room felt like a treehouse nestled amongst the canopy. Loved seeing lots of different types of birds. Excellent excursions; hiking in Cocora Valley with Eduardo and horse riding with Alejandro.

Armenia is a rainy region so the room can get a bit damp but the hotel provides a dehumidifier to mitigate this which is the best that can be done. Shower could have been hotter in the room.

The pictures hardly do it justice, and the pictures are fantastic! We stayed in the grandmaster suite, one of the aviary master suites, and another master suite with a hot tub. All were incredible. For a couple, I would recommend the master suites with a Jacuzzi. We spent one night in a suite with a jacuzzi and private pool, but it was during rainy season and the weather was too cool to relay take advantage of the pool. All of the views are incredible, though different. We saw a number of species of birds, usually at the edge of our windows. The grounds, vegetation and flowers are amazing! The spa is stunning and peaceful. The daily yoga is led by excellent instructors who can put together a challenging practice for experienced yogis and explain the basics for beginners. The nature walk is a great, challenging way to spend an hour or so. We did not leave the property during our four day stay and were quite content.

The restaurant could use more light, healthy options, particularly more vegetarian/vegan friendly options.

Facilities are quite comfortable. The restaurant kitchen has a very tasty menu. The restaurant staff is very friendly and helpful (particularly Marlon, Karen and the girl who offers breakfast).

Reception staff is not welcoming. I would suggest that the front desk team receive guest service training, they are not able to provide solutions to simple requests, no service attitude (check-in experience). Room was not in the best condition, bathroom too dark (only one of the three light bulbs was working). The floor was quite cold, so I would recommend offering some slippers.

We arrived by taxi and were greeted with a welcome drink our choice at the lobby, the view from there over Armenia is fantastic but even better when you sit in the outside relaxing area the sun goes down-dramatic. But then came the best: we were taken to our room which was a cabin in the middle of the forest, glass all around it felt like you were completely alone, no neighbor cabin close by. That experience was really fantastic. We left the shades open and it felt like we sleep in the forest. We had a fantastic dinner there (shareables). Unfortunately we had to leave very early to the airport so could not enjoy a probably fantastic breakfast . Also worth to mention: communication via watsup was very easy

There is really not so much negative to mention. The only thing maybe was the waiters at the outside bar and for dinner were extremely slow maybe because there was not a specific one responsible for a table so you had to chase them. But that does not change anything from the super positive experience

It’s a beautiful property in the wilderness. Very nice lobby and restaurant with the most beautiful views for sunset. The staff is excellent friendly and helpful. The walk to our room has an amazing feeling that you are in the rainforest. The itself is very comfortable with windows all around that give you the feeling that you are not in a room, and very comfortable. The food has amazing fusion with delicious flavors. If you want to feel in the rainforest and also feel at home, this is the place to be. We will be back
