Good hotel in Leticia, where we stayed before and after our trip to the Amazon for one night with our two boys age 8 and ten. Basic facilities but all very clean and tidy. Air con to keep room cool as was very hot. The owner very kindly picked us up from Leticia airport, which is only 10/15 mins away. We were able to pay by card on arrival.

Able to walk into Leticia from the hotel but do have to be careful when walking around later at night, and there were some areas that you maybe wouldn't go as tourists - there was a good restaurant just opposite the hotel though The Punto Lounge.

(1) The husband-wife duo running the hotel was kind and attentive; they picked me up from the airport and gave me a ride back, and tried to talk to my tour guide on my behalf when I was having language issuesz (2) The hotel is extremely well kept and spacious. Everything worked fine - the shower, A/C, and kitchen/living room space was nice. (3) I actually liked the location - easy walk to the central as well as to the Brazilian border. (4) The resto in front of the hotel is also nice and solid.

Nothing! Given the proximity to the Brazilian border, my iphone time kept switching, which I thought was fascinating - could confuse you though!

What an amazing stay here!! I felt like a member of the family, as they offered to pick me up and went out of their way to drive me around so we could find a tricky port on the Brazilian side where I needed to buy my ticket ahead of time, and then dropped me back there the next day, free of charge. Very great care to make sure I was happy! And the AC room was truly appreciated in the heat. This is absolutely the best place to stay and feel at home when you pass through Leticia!!

The apartment was perfect! It was perfectly clean and comfortable. We had air conditioning in both bedrooms that kept us cold all night! The kitchen had all the necessities and the living room was comfortable to relax in. The owners were waiting for us when we arrived and were exceptional! He even took us to the airport the next day!

Not a big deal, but we thought the shower had hot water and it didn't. But it was hot enough outside, it didn't matter!

Very friendly hosts, free pickup and drop-off at the airport, walkable and quiet location, excellent value for the money.

No Wifi. Not bad Wifi - no Wifi at all. Other places in town had Wifi at the same time; slow wifi, but at least some connection. This is too essential to not offer it. Mobile plans are no alternative since they data connection does not really work in Leticia. And one more warning (nothing to do with the hosts): the apartment is very close to Brazil, so your phone might automatically - but wrongly - change the timezone. Happened to me, so I was unknowingly one hour too early at my tour meeting point.

What a joy! The smiles of the staff would be enough for a 10/10 review! The property is tropical and immaculately clean, the air conditioned bedroom was a surprise, and again, the STAFF. The location is off center in a good way, walkable to both Leticia and Tabatinga, on a quiet street. There is an excellent restaurant across the street.

What I loved most of all was that the hosts, along with their son were waiting for me at the airport. They were very warm and welcoming and made sure to give me a grand tour of the town on the way to the hotel. In addition, the apartment was nice, the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen was well equipped.

Not the fault of the hosts in the slightest, but the internet service wasn't sufficient for remote work. The story was the same all over town however as Leticia is in the middle of the Amazon... DON'T go to Leticia planning to work remotely.

super location with the most welcoming and accommodating hosts

This facility is clean, clean, clean and located just far enough from downtown to be quiet and yet close enough to walk downtown in 5 to 10 minutes. Also keep in mind, you can take a tuk tuk anywhere around Leticia for just 5 Colombian pesos (approx $1.25 USD). If you want to take a tuk tuk to Brazil it will be 15 Colombian pesos (approx $3.75 USD). Our room was complete with 2 bedrooms, private bath, kitchen and fully furnished. The main bedroom has air conditioning, while the other rooms had fans. The hosts are fantastic and could not be more helpful. Free rides to and from the airport and even gave us a ride to port for a multiple day excursion down the Amazon.

I really don't know if this qualifies as a dislike, but you should be aware that bathroom is small and if you are a large person, it may not work for you. I am 6' tall, 200+ pounds and didn't have an issue, but if you are a round person, it could be an issue for you. Also, another note of caution. The owners do NOT speak English. My travel partner is bilingual, so this was not an issue for us, but thought this was worth pointing out.

Nice place on a quiet street a short walk from the main town area, or Brazil in the other direction. Little corner stores nearby and a fantastic restaurant across the street (Punto Lounge). Very friendly hostess, and the host helped drive us to the docks when we left. AC worked well and everything was nice and comfortable :)
