Gorgeous property tucked off the main road. Lush and tropical with many birds and other animals to enjoy watching. We had a lodge with it's own jacuzzi. Breakfast greeted us every day with fresh fruit and french pressed coffee. The staff were so warm and accomodating. I booked several excursions through the hotel and they handled every detail. It was a wonderful place to stay and I would stay here again.

A bit far from town and sometimes hard to get an Uber. The hotel was able to arrange taxis for me but that was more expensive than uber. One night we arrived after 9 pm and had not eaten. Although there was still one table having dinner in the dining area, I was told there was no food left and the kitchen was closed.

I would highly recommend Sazagua Hotel. It is set in beautiful, tropical grounds with lots of lush vegetation and birdlife. Breakfast and food in the restaurant is of an extremely high standard and there is a good choice. Service is excellent at all times. It was a very relaxing place to stay. We also had massages and the hotel organised a coffee tour for us. This was a memorable day . We went to a small coffee farm high up in the hills where David, our guide went to a lot of time and trouble to explain life and the processes involved in coffee production. We were then treated to a delicious lunch. The whole experience felt very natural and authentic and David was an excellent tour guide who spoke English. I would also recommend a visit to Salento and the Corcora Valley.

We enjoyed the tranquility and the ability to unwind with our private hot tub. The premises are lovely and the staff are accommodating and friendly. Would have given it 10 stars if they had given us the proper accommodation that we had signed up for (deluxe villa) from the beginning and not tried to switch us and tell us it was the very best and largest they had. It clearly was not the best for our needs and we asked to make a move the next day to a "villa" that became available after the hot tub broke down. Luckily the villa was beautiful and we enjoyed it a lot but the disruption of the move is the reason for a "good" instead of "excellent". Too much musical chairs going on.

A hotel should honor what you booked and not play switcheroo.

Sazagua Pereira is stunning. You truly feel as though you are on a nature Preserve. The hotel is quiet with few guests but the hotel is staffed well with the kindest, most helpful staff. The restaurant is great...the breakfast is perfect and dinner menu reasonably priced. The hotel also arranged an amended coffee tour with one of their contracted guides (David) who was local to the area, super accommodating and informative. It was centrally located for several activities. I only wish I could stay longer.

A good feeling of being in nature even though the hotel is quite close to busy roads. Our room was huge but the rooms vary a lot so look carefully when you book. Good restaurant. Friendly staff. Excellent massage.

Having come from Salento, I think it is much more authentic to stay there if you are interested in seeing wax palms, coffee tours etc. We stayed here only one night before flying elsewhere and I was glad it had not been our base for our whole trip to the region.

We can’t speak highly enough about our stay in this magical property! All the rooms our group stayed in were magnificent and the flora and fauna surrounding us was unparalleled. The staff went above and beyond to attend to our every need all day, everyday. The coffee tour they organized was a highlight for our group, along with our spa treatments and the delicious Colombian cuisine was a delight to partake in every day. 10/10

This is a beautiful hotel set in an incredibly lush private garden teeming with bird life, with a nice swimming pool and lots of large established trees and plants. Once inside the perimeter you really don't want to leave. The room was enormous with an equally enormous bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to accommodate your belongings. There was a very large private balcony with comfortable chairs and hammocks. The balcony had a view over the whole garden. The room and bathroom had everything you might need . There was also a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The breakfast was very good with everything cooked fresh to order. The dining area was open plan with outside tables looking into the beautiful garden. The staff were very welcoming helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The air conditioning unit really struggled to cool such a large room even with the doors to the bathroom fully closed. The room always felt quite hot even though the air conditioning was on continually for two days. The suite could really do with two air conditioning units. It was disappointing that filter water was not provided in the room and one was expected to buy bottled drinking water from the mini bar. This is unnecessary penny pinching when guests are paying a substantial amount for the room.

Food was great, garden is beautiful, very clean, well located. Nice touches like welcome cocktail, early check in, help with taxis and tours. The best part is that all the staff was very kind and professional. I didn’t get all the names but I remember Freddy, Felipe and Andres who was the nicest with us. The guy that feeds the birds and checks the pool was super nice too. The cleaning lady and the ladies at the front desk were amazing too.

The furniture in my bedroom was not as nice as the furniture in the photo, that’s a little misleading. The shower door we had to raise it to get it closed. We got a nice coffee maker but no coffee pods. Anyway I would stay there again, those are just little details.

Everything! The facilities were immaculate. The staff and personnel were always extremely friendly and helpful. This was my second stay and we enjoyed it so much. The first time we brought family back to stay with us the second time. We were always accommodated. The food is fantastic and the value is extremely well. It is close enough to the city but far enough to be within your own tropical Paradise.

I cannot think of anything that I did not like whatsoever. Everything was wonderful

It's tucked away in a more tropical setting than some of the other hotels, is upscale (not sure i would say luxury) but is very charming with an attentive staff. The landscaping in the back, the tropical birds flying around and friendly staff definitely give good vacay vibes. I found this place because they were listed as a hotel in itinerary for a super high end tour provider. The food served on the property is fantastic. We had a great time.

Don't let this dissuade you, but i think this place woukd be closer to 5 stars if their room furniture was nicer.
