Location is amazing!! You are 30 sec walk to the beach (in a very nice area of the beach called Spratt Bight). You are 13 min walk to the area where boats take you to other islands and 1 minute to a scuba dive shop/training/recreation called Bandas dive shop (which I did and was amazing). The really nice restaurants are 30 sec walk from hotel, next to beach. Grocery store is across the street (Super Exito) which makes it convenient to buy water, Gatorade, snacks for the beach. AC in room worked amazing!Would definitely stay here again!

The room was remodeled,Good wifi,nice breakfast,complementary coffee and water,the hotel is in the outskirts of the center 2 blocks from the beach,this was my 3 hotel I stayed at on this trip to San Andres and was the nicest,stayed at wh hotel and apartahotels tropical 3 prior.

You are one block away from the beach, the island is pretty small so everything is close. They give you towels for the beach every day, the breakfast is nice, the staff is nice. I liked everything

I spend a night at the Hotel Caribe between flights from Providencia and onwards to Bogota. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking to the airport, so it's perfect for an early flight or just an easy lay-over. It's in the town, not on the beach (even though the beach is not far). It has lots of nice shops around, I found a great burger place, a lovely ice cream place and a big supermarket all 5 min away. The receptionist was nice, and my room had AC, a fridge, a comfy bed. It was exactly what I hoped for.

The rooms on the street side can be a bit noisy at night, especially on week-end nights, but nothing that stopped me from sleeping. The city environment is quite busy and not especially charming, but very convenient.

the location is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean, all the facilities that the provide are working well, like the safe. the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is great

there is no elevator, but the staff helps you to carry the baggage, there is no hot water on the shower but this is normal in Caribbean. the only problem that I had was in the check out with the staff named Johnny, it was very unprofessional, unnecessary and uncomfortable, I don’t recommend to get close to him

The room was lovely, aircon worked quickly once turned on. The staff was wonderful!

Our bathroom window wouldn’t close so it did get muggy in there even when the air conditioner was on. Breakfast was good, but it wasn’t buffet, so there is a limit to how much food you can have.

Breakfast was great, the hotel overall was very clean and comfortable. Staff members were super nice and friendly, especially the ladies that prepared the breakfast and made the room.

I did mention that my father couldn't use much the stairs but no one got back to me saying that there's no way to get to the room without using the stairs..... Let the customers know, what if they come with a disability chair?

Grand Carribe Hotel is a good value about a block from the beach. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with some homemade typical foods. The room was good, big shower but only tepidly hot water, which wasn't a huge problem because it is hellishly hot here. The AC was great. Rooms have a safe, TV, good bed. At front desk they will provide beach towels, take 2/person, they are sort of small. There is no elevator or pool. Overall pretty good hotel, if you dont need the beachfront luxury hotels.

I've stayed here many times when I visit San Andres. Rooms are basic, clean and with great a/c. Breakfast varies on a daily basis. Staff are friendly. Just a block to the beach. Bathroom has hot water, which is a plus.

All employees are friendly and helpful. The room had s good bed and acclimatization.

Noise on weekend, in front there is a restaurant that works until late.
