This hotel truly lives up to the Colombian saying "everything that it's fine." From their proactive pre-arrival communication with recommendations for activities, restaurants, and dessert spots, to their genuinely warm welcome, they create a sense of anticipation. Housed in a former family residence, the hotel exudes a special charm with its cozy and tasteful décor. It offers an authentic Villa de Leyva experience within a boutique setting, seamlessly blending local traditions with comfortable accommodations. Its prime location, just a two-minute walk from the main square, provides easy access to everything the town has to offer. The hotel also boasts fantastic breakfast and the convenience of private parking upon request. Without a doubt, I would choose to stay here again.

While I thoroughly enjoyed my hotel stay, a point of improvement for this and other Colombian hotels concerns the process for tax exemption for Colombian residents living abroad. Since I have biometric entry, my passport lacked an entry stamp. Despite providing airplane tickets and other documents confirming my non-residency in Colombia, the hotel insisted an email from Migración Colombia was mandatory (which I never received in the past when I entered the country) and ultimately charged me local taxes. Hotels should explore alternative methods for verifying non-residency in such situations.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were basically but comfortable. The shower was amazing. Breakfast at the hotel was really good as well. It is simple but tasty. The fresh fruits and coffee were the highlight for us. The most amazing thing was the staff. It was as if we were the only ones at the hotel. Any request we had was answered quickly and with a level of service that I have not seen in Colombia.

The rooms are basic, which was expected. It would have been nice to have a fan in the room. The upstairs walls are thin, so we could here music from outside the hotel at night. It wasn't too loud but as a lite sleeper it was annoying.

Loved the location. Block away from main plaza. Closed to restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed variety of options for breakfast. Comfortable beds, strong WiFi signal.

Hotel is located on a one way street with no parking allowed. If arriving at same time as others, you might have to keep driving around until that one car is done unloading or find parking 1-2 streets over, so you can check-in and obtain the parking/ garage ticket for where you will leave your car during your stay. If you have luggage with wheels it can be a hassle to drag them over the cobblestone roads. It’s not a big deal, but just be aware and patient.

The Staff was amazing. Edith at the front desk was so lovely and helpful in every way. The decor is beautiful. Lots of nice spaces to enjoy a coffee or read a book other than in just our lovely room. Location was great!

We really loved everything. Not a complaint but I would have enjoyed better lighting in the bathroom. The light was purely ambient and pretty but not good for looking in a mirror.

The property is beautiful with nice courtyard for breakfast, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, peaceful and quiet but only a few blocks from the main center.

The bathroom had very little privacy, only a partially see through curtain so I would not recommend for groups that are not couples. The wifi was very slow and kept dropping in and out. The shower had no curtain and caused water to get all over the floor when used. There was a small leak in our sink but it was quickly fixed by staff who were very attentive

Super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. Woman at the desk was super helpful and booked the wine tour for us which we couldn't due to our non-Colombian payment methods. It worked (and it was great)!

We booked the room which was next to the patio (with thin windows) and no closet space. So we asked to upgrade to the family room upstairs (only one that was still available). We paid the difference and it was well worth it.

This was a lovely place to stay in Villa de Leyva. The staff were really friendly and helpful and it’s in a great location in the centre of town, close to all amenities and restaurants. There are two lovely outside spaces for eating breakfast and the room was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel, inside and out with views of the mountains. Excellent location as it's close to the main square. Great shower, hot water always available, which is not a given. There is no TV, but that was not an issue. La Feria, a good restaurant, is nearby as is the excellent Alma handicraft shop. But everything is close as the town is small.

The room could have been a tad bigger.

I think the breakfast nice and very personal. I was surprised by how it was just my partner and myself, but that could have been due to the timing in the middle of the week. I definitely had a great time.

The only complaint I have is the water spillage from the bathtub shower head. You will get the rest of the shower area wet which is not a huge problem at all. It was a minor issue and did not detract from the experience.

The front desk young girl is very special. The breakfast girl is very nice and breakfast selection is amazing. Location is excellent. We liked a common area sofas. The street is very nice, a few steps to the main plaza.
