After a very long day of travelling, arriving at Casa Terra felt like stepping into paradise. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and immediately felt tranquil and like home. This is the epitome of thoughtful design - so beautiful and yet so comfortable. My room (Azul) was wonderful and quickly became very hard to leave. Breakfast is served in the lovely garden. The location is great, just five minutes’ walk to Plaza Mayor. The staff (Alejandro and Francisco) are second to none. Thank you both. I stayed for three nights but will return for a week.

This is a top hotel. Located close to the centre of town with secure parking within the grounds. The room which was a superior suite was well designed, stylish, comfortable and equipped with quality furnishings, the toiletries were a luxury brand. There was a patio immediately outside the room with very comfortable patio chairs and a small table, in addition there was a further larger table where breakfast was served, breakfast was excellent. The main courtyard was lovely with a fountain and established trees and shrubs and some beautiful birds. The owners Ximena and Alvaro live on site, they were most friendly and helpful and made good suggestions and gave directions to local attractions and restaurants, it was appreciated that they spoke excellent English. The other staff at the hotel were also most helpful. We stayed for three nights and we would have happily stayed longer, given the quality the price was most reasonable.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

The property is amazingly located! Walking distance from the square super quiet! The staff was truly helpful, assisted us while getting ready for the wedding we were attending, gave us indications of where to have lunch, helped us with transportation, suggestions, everything! Room was super clean, they left water and a small snack for us each night and breakfast was amazing!

The doors of the Terracota room were kind of noisy. You couldn’t get up without waking everyone else.

The room was spacious, so was the restroom and the walking closet. It was tastefully decorated, featuring modern furnishings and a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. Some of the amenities provided, were high-speed internet, and parking, catered to both leisure and business travelers. The hotel offer breakfast and the options were outstanding. They offered a wide array of fresh, delicious choices to start the day and their plate presentation and service represents how much their care about their guests. What truly set this hotel apart was its exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The hotel is managed by their owners. Ximena, is one of them and her friendliness and attention were above and beyond. She takes care of every single detail and strike to offer your the best service possible. She provided valuable local recommendations and was always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. The hotel's facilities were also top-notch. Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of outstanding. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay at Villa de Leyva. From beautifully accommodations to the exceptional service, this hotel truly deserves its reputation as an excellent destination for travelers.

I loved every minute of my stay.

Hotel Casa Terra is a small beautiful hotel, with lovely architecture following the design and the history of Villa de Leiva, with a small well designed and pleasant garden, where breakfast is served on strategically located tables that allow for privacy in a lovely open space under the trees. Service is personalized, friendly and efficient. We fully enjoyed our stay in Villa de Leiva in this small and exceptional hotel.

My room was too warm at night - it was a ground floor suite and there were only double French doors to open, but no window. There was underfloor heating in the bathroom, but it meant that the room as a whole got pretty hot. I could’ve done with some way of cooling it, such as a fan or m a small window to open.

Very peaceful and tranquil. The garden, patio, and rooms have all been designed so tastefully that it is a real joy to stay here. Breakfast in the garden was bliss and the perfect start to the day. The staff were super attentive and kind. The location is ideal as it’s close enough to everything but far enough from any noise. Total silence at night.

The ambiance of Casa Terra is amazing. The staff goes above and beyond every time we stay there. I will always recommend people to stay here if you want a laid back experience.

I wish the rooms had full body mirrors so my girlfriend could check out her outfits before a night out. Besides that I can't complain.

Beautiful hotel , great location, very clean , staff were super attentive and professional. Close to the Main Square, shops, restaurants and a beautiful walking trail. Breakfast was very good .

The walls in the room connecting to the room next door are thin .

This was a stunning hotel, a short walk from the main square and the staff were extremely helpful. Our bed was turned down each night when we returned with fresh water and treats in the room, and when we told them we were leaving very early they made us packed breakfast.
