The owner is a very kind and informative gentleman . He speaks perfect English. He sets an example of excellence for his staff. And they, the staff, follow his example very well, they were excellent, too. The room was nicely appointed with a great view, especially of the city lights at night. The king-size bed was very comfortable. Although, for its mountaun location and elevation, an extra blanket would have been welcomed for the cool nightly temperatures. We enjoyed a nice, quiet, and relaxing evening sitting in the outside dining area just before going to bed. We drove in from Panama and continued our drive to the San Jose, Purisil area the next day. Breakfast is complimentary. My wife and I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The seafood soup and rice deserve recognition as the best we've tasted!

It's a rural area. Therefore, the small flying insects in the bathroom were not a surprise. The electric socket next to the night stand in unit 4 needs to be tested.

They are/were experiencing some power issues, the second night I was out of power from about 11:30 PM until the next day and had to slept with the balcony door open because due to this, AC was not working 😕 Also, at dinner and/or breakfast, it takes a while after you order, to bring the meal to the table And third, the TV was not working at room #5 at all. I reported and was expected to have fix, but that did not happened.

It is a very intimate room with great view. The restaurant has great food. The price was right.

Nothing but be aware that this hotel is up on a bery high hill.

breakfast was included in the offer I found, and it was very good. The restaurant also serves dinner and that was really good too. From our room we could see a tree with about 10 Toucans in it.

the room 5 had slightly less of a view, but still beautiful, only suggestion I have is maybe it would be good to have mosquito/bug screen on the window in the bathroom.

It is a modern cabin, very comfortable and clean, hot shower and with a balcony with a great view, Breakfast was also very recommendable

You can't order drinks nor snacks nor snacks after the restaurant/ bar closes at 9pm. And if you are hungry, you will need to drive all the way down to the center.

This is a perfect stopover spot. The owner is very personable, the vista is indeed linda, the food was tasty, the rooms tastefully equipped.
