The cabanas are set with a spectacular view, overlooking the forest. They are beautifully designed, very private, well maintained and extremely clean. A short drive to the town and also conveniently accessible to public transport. It is family run with excellent service, very helpful and friendly. Great restaurant on site. It is a perfect getaway for birding. We would definitely stay again when visiting San Vito.

Wonderfully and creatively designed individual cabins with nice views from a lovely porch. We also liked the large size of the cabins and the small kitchenette and refrigerator. It was also in a quiet location. We enjoyed our stay.

during our 3 day stay there was never any cleaning lady who came into the room and cleaned. Everyone on the staff was nice, but didn't spend much attention on the cabin or us. The pillows on the beds were the worst I've ever encountered anywhere. The sheets were a bit old and had tears. Breakfast is not included in the room price. Despite these small issues, I'd return to this hotel as its probably the best in the San Vito area, and is 3 minutes from the Wilson Botanical Garden.

One of the most beautiful rooms and grounds and restaurants anywhere. Complete privacy with view out to the horizon. Jungle. Huge windows and sliding doors. Balcony. A very large octagon with a high ceiling. Beautiful tiles and wood carvings. Complete privacy. Restaurants truly excellent. Serve you when you want to eat.

This such a Beautiful Property that is on our top 3 most unique places we have stayed throughout many years of extensive travels. Check out the cabinas on the website. Just amazing! George and the staff were warm and welcoming and so gracious. We highly recommend this experience in the mountains of San Vito!

The cabins were beautifully built, comfortable and roomy. Each was unique with great attention to detail. There was a 180 degree view from large windows and a marvelous covered deck. Cabin 4 was private with a wonderful view, including sunrise. Location was excellent. It was far enough out of San Vito to be quiet and close to Wilson Botanical Garden and Finca Cantaros. The open air restaurant served delicious, grilled food. The atmosphere was delightful as were the staff. The restaurant had a roof with ingenious hanging bamboo planters and plants everywhere. Again, a great deal of thought went into this area. Right down to the table mosaics.

It was difficult to shave because there was very poor lighting over the mirror in the bathroom. Also, the "kitchenette" facilities were limited. Included small fridge; sink; microwave; 2 cups, plates, glasses, spoons, forks, knives. Essentially, there was the ability to reheat but not to cook.

We loved our Cabin. We booked the last one (number 4) which has a nice view into the valley. We walked the trails on our last day, and we had two great big breakfasts and an amazing bbq - the best steak we had in Costa Rica! Great pizza in the town nearby.

A few bugs in our cabin but IT'S IN THE JUNGLE, so that's to be expected.

For a small person the bed was too firm. We were given a small table fan, which was nice, but a bigger floor fan would have been appreciated. Very limited kitchen supplies but we were able to reheat food.

The cabins have a gorgeous view of the forest and San Vito. They sit on a hill about 5 miles outside the city. The family that runs the property were very attentive and great cooks. The location cannot be beat.

The location just outside of San Vito is great and the cabana is large, quiet and beautiful. It is so peaceful and relaxing to sit on the balcony surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. All of the staff are warm, welcoming and very helpful.

The rooms were cute and the balcony was wonderful. Waking up to a view of the forest was wonderful. The property had some nice hiking trails and the vegetation was glorious.

There was a coffee maker but no coffee. The website says breakfast is included. The breakfast was great, but then they tried to charge us for it. Apparently the free breakfast was discontinued 2 years ago but he has not updated the website. We ended up paying 1/2 price, but I think he should have honored what it showed on the website. None of the questions I asked through Booking.com were answered. I probably will not use Booking.com again. The price wasn't any cheaper and the information was incomplete. This is my 2nd bad experience with Booking.com so I'm done with you.
