Lovely hotel, generously gave us early check in AND late check out, thank you. Very friendly staff - when we checked in she discussed our plans for the next 2 days, suggested walks, reminded us we'd need €5 cash for the walk to adjacent cove (lovely walk, swim in cove over sunken ww2 boat) - really helpful. Comfy bed, great air-con, huge powerful shower, washing line in bathroom to hang wet swim things is great, nice toiletries. Good breakfast. Swimming/Sunbathing terrace is superb - loads of room, shade, changing cubicles, diving board, feels really safe to swim from. Hotel garden at front is perfect for watching the sunset and lovely evening meal. Rooms at the back look out over harbour, at the front have balconies and look out over sea. Really recommend day trip to nearby Northern Velebit national park.

Only very minor but evening meal felt a tiny bit rushed, it's such a lovely place to sit that it would have been nice to have longer gap between starters and main course.

This property is stunning! It is the prettiest place that we have stayed enduring our Croatian trip. The views are absolutely breathtaking! We especially love being able to sit on the balcony and just look at the water. Our bedroom is clean, comfortable, and we love lying in bed and being able to see the water! The staff are extremely friendly. Very helpful, and nice. We enjoyed our dinner last night of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and peas. It was very tasty. The rosé wine was also a nice treat. We enjoyed walking along the path on the face of the cliff. It was a wonderful way to get some steps in, while enjoying the beautiful nature. Breakfast the next morning was so delicious. Full of every hot and good cold food that you can imagine.

Perfectly located in this cute little town with easy parking options surrounding the newly refurbished hotel. Furniture of hotel and room modern, very comfortable bed and our bed- and bathroom had amazing sea view. Plus points for having a lot of space to hang wet clothes / towels on balcony and inside the bathroom - really handy! All staff extremely friendly. Breakfast is served as buffet, not with a huge selection, but everything of highest quality - good coffee and also enjoying it on the terrace with such a stunning view in the morning makes for a great start to the day! Our small dog was very welcome, 20€ per night. 3 options (including the hotel restaurant) to eat lunch/dinner, the closest supermarket is a 5min car ride away, but (and that may be the only drawback) keep in mind there is no fridge in the room! Hiking north and south, you have perfect options to explore coves, sunken ships and hidden beaches… whenever the local beach of Jablanac gets boring, which feature a lot of options to find a calm spot to lay down. Just bring some beach chairs or mats, as nothing is there to be rented. We felt sad leaving after 5 nights, as you feel like becoming a part of this perfect little environment there… will certainly come back!

Wonderful view of the sea and islands, and a cleverly designed balcony that gave one privacy. Excellent walk in shower unusually with a window looking directly at the sea. The building below the hotel had clever access to the sea so one did not have to endure the pebbles. One could park close to one’s room and there was a good lift. Good WiFi.

The Musak with every meal, though they did reduce the volume when asked. The aircon lights could not be switched off.

Beautiful view, clean and comfy rooms. Great, responsive hosts. They made dinner just for us and made us feel very cosy. Very cute town and hiking routes.

This hotel is amazing. It is relatively new with improvements on beach front buildings still being made. The room is modern with its own aircon unit that makes the room as cold as you can bear it even when the temps outside are 30+ degrees C. The staff were very helpful and polite, could not have asked for more. The hotel, whilst on a hill is very close to the sea - the pier even has its own plank for jumping into the warm sea - a great addition by the person who thought of adding that!!! Hotel is in a small cove which means the place was very quiet when we stayed there - 3 places to walk to for dinner - we had dinner the other side of the cove and could not have been happier.

I can see that parking can be an issue in peak season - on motorbikes, not an issue for us. Other than that, there is nothing I did not like - would absolutely stay again.

Maya at the reception made us feel welcome from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and patient with me when I tried to speak Croatian with them. We got a room with "pogled na more" without being charged extra which was a happy surprise. We liked the room a lot. It provides a great view of the sea and birds and is very comfortable overall. The hotel building is quite magnificent, looks like a castle at the shore from a story book, unlike anything ordinary. Wifi was strong and fast. Breakfast was good. Staff were all friendly. Bonus point: there were two super cute dogs.

There was bright blue light at night from the terrace downstairs which blinds our eyes and makes the sea view in the dark invisible. We would much prefer it naturally dark at night.

A fantastic location with lovely views over the sea. Received a warm welcome and sitting on the veranda was pleasant. The room was a little small but was comfortable and had a sea facing balcony. The toilet was very low which for us oldies was not the easiest to use. Loved the spacious shower with a sea view but the water poured rather than sprayed. There are two small resident dogs so if you are allergic this may cause an issue. They bark when you first arrive but do not pester you, just look longingly at you while eating. Dinner menu was limited and our choice was not available. Limited breakfast options too. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful with good English. The walk along the coast path to bay with a sunken landing craft was amazing and well worth doing (small charge towards end).

We had to go into hotel to ask for help with luggage due to the stony car park and steps down to veranda entrance.

Quit nice place. Amazing views. Fresh and clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Close to the small beach. Highly recommended.

The holiday was great, amazing staff, absolutely great cuisine, clean, beautiful rooms, beautiful sea, beautiful surroundings, the local people were also very nice and helpful, thank you again for a wonderful holiday. A great advantage is the charger for the electric car.
