We visited during a heatwave, the day we left, the uber showed 42 outside of the car. So the AC was great to have, couldn't have done without. The hotel looks ok, as per the pictures. The staff is nice and try to help/be helpful, but in a Eastern European way, which we are used to, however some British guests didn't seem to enjoy. 😅 Food wise it looks like they didn't really catch up with the times, but you won't starve, if it's your only option for food. The breakfast doesn't offer a big variety. And on our second morning you could tell that the items weren't fresh anymore. But we had tomatoes, cucumbers and boiled eggs, bread and butter. Overall, despite everything not being great or perfect, I would return, for the location. I just wouldn't eat there anymore. There was a really nice waiter in the evenings, a bit older, he was very calm, kind and knowledgeable. As well as the girl who did the housekeeping. The 2 of them seemed to be the nicest.

The breakfast. Also worth noting that coffee is very old-school, asked for a late & it came in an espresso cup with a splash of milk. But we asked for a bigger cup with some milk in it and we just poured the coffee over the milk.. then it did turn into a cafe late. 😅 Some other few minor things, that the manager or the other lady (forgot her name) did try to sort out once we mentioned them. The junior staff got the blame for the hiccups.😅

Our room was extremely cozy, spotlessly clean, and smelled amazing, with a bathroom just as lovely. It was a very charming room, perfectly in tune with the historic atmosphere of Trogir! The staff and the owner/manager were absolutely incredible and attentive. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, provided us with all the necessary information, and helped us with our luggage. The hotel also has a restaurant with amazing food and a very pleasant, elegant atmosphere. Our stay was very short – just one night – but we definitely want to come back to enjoy everything Trogir has to offer. We also want to highlight a special moment: due to a misunderstanding on our part, we thought breakfast was at 7 AM, but it actually started at 8. We explained that we had to leave at 8 to catch our flight back to Portugal and wouldn’t be able to have breakfast. To our surprise, the staff kindly prepared the best breakfast of our lives ahead of time! We were so grateful – they were truly wonderful!

Very warm welcome and helpful staff. I had forgotten my iPhone charger lead and they lent me one of theirs. Breakfasts were very good, with plenty of food and excellent coffee. Our hosts were very attentive and encouraged us to relax and enjoy our holiday. Our hotel was at the far corner of the island of Trogir, away from the noise in the centre, but very convenient for the Kastel Kamerlengo and next door to a Tour Operator's shop. Also very convenient for the old town and The Promenade.

Air conditioning unit was a little noisy for sleeping, but it was very necessary in the heat that week and quickly cooled the room. After 10-15 minutes, we could switch it off and relax. This was a very minor point and did not detract from our stay.

Antonia at the hotel had responded immediately to all our messages and organised a taxi from the airport. On a busy evening we were greeted by Frank the owner who helped us up to our (very clean) room with our bags. We then had an excellent dinner mostly of fish from the wood grill and with excellent service. In the morning a perfect buffet breakfast was available. We look forward to our stay there again next week.

Nothing except guests should know there is no elevator and quite steep stairs - and bring an eye mask as the green fire alarm nightlight is very bright!

The dinner was exceptional and outstanding. The breakfast service was fantastic. Location was good, even though there were construction works on going, but the Trogir town was well worth a visit, more pretty and relaxing than the bigger towns like Dubrovnik and Split. Trogir is beautiful at night and day !

The government construction works nearby was a slight put off, but soon overtaken by the exceptional staff service and help, six of us were overwhelmed and impressed by the hotel manager. The dinner was outstanding too.

Excellent location and very polite and helpful staff. We were so happy with Frank and his team looking after his for the 6 days we spent in Trogir. They even accommodated for us to be able to stay an extra day and reduced price even though it was peak season. Location is 10/10. Food in the restaurant is amazing and hospitality is next to none. The staff was exceptional. So accommodating and friendly in every way. Couldn't have made us feel more comfortable and very knowledgeable of the area. Thank you Frank (Mgr), Maggie, Milos and Dayan. Your Customer service was above and beyond. Also really liked the proximity to the Sea and the quiet corner where this Hotel sits. Outstanding.

Nothing to dislike about the staff or Hotel. Top notch across the board

Excellent hosts Fran & Antonija. They will really look after you. Delicious and plentiful breakfast and dinner. I recommend the half board option. Great location, near beaches and walking distance from Trogir bus station and less than 15 minutes by taxi to the airport.

It didn't spoil our enjoyment, but room 2 the mattress is very firm.

The hotel is located in a quiet location on the edge of old town. The hotel has its own restaurant with excellent cuisine. We ate only at the hotel restaurant. The room was relatively small, but very clean. The hotel and restaurant staff are the same people, very helpful, professional and kind. I hope, i will return for a few days nextime again.

Maybe hotel require better refriezer in too hot days as we spent here.

We found Hotel Trogir on our 1st pass through Trogir. Franko and Dan were wonderful people from the Restaurant - so on our last night in Croatia, we decided to stay at the hotel. It's a classic Old Town hotel on the quieter side of town with stairs (didn't have elevators back in the day) and every room is a bit different. Clean and comfy and a great breakfast is available.

We really enjoyed our stay!
