The location in old town was very convenient for walking, but no so much for driving. Our hosts were very hospitable and helpful.

The only thing I didn't like was the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the foyer. Coming from Australia where smoking is not permitted indoors or in any outdoor public places, it is always very challenging in Europe to constantly have smoke in your face. This is not exclusive to Villa Fontana, it's everywhere. If you are sensitive to smoke or have asthma, I would not recommend this hotel. The other thing to note is it's a heritage building so no lift and a spiral stair case. The host will help you with luggage.

Villa Fontana is located in the heart of the Old Town of Trogir, just a stone's throw from all the action and attractions. My room was cute, recently renovated and with a large modern bathroom. Being back in Trogir after a few years is like coming home for me. The owner Marin and the staff are more than welcoming. Special thanks to Tea for the freshly brewed strong black coffee, without which I can't function properly. All in all, great value for money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for home-like comfort and a perfect location in the center of the Old Town.

Perfect location, kind, flexible and suppotive host. Good recommendations for restaurant, but we we were very satisfied with all of the restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the stay very much! We came back after~20years to Trogir and it was a good decision. We were chartering every day and the marina is very close, clean, nice, modern and well equiped. So, the accommodation was just perfect for our holiday. Thanks!

Towels have been changed 2x in 6day, despite the fact that every second day was told and indicated. In hot summer it was a bit inconviniant, but it was not critical.

Lovely little villa. Super cute with Croatian features in the place… and the staff were amazing!! Would stay again in the future!!

Not a negative personally, but if u are a light sleeper this may be a little loud as it’s an old building and you can hear people go up the stairs. I would say though if you want to stay in the old town in trogir all hotels would be the same as they are old lovely buildings

The accommodation is located in the middle of the old town. The staff is incredibly kind and communicative; they provide information about everything and even share interesting stories. It’s rare to see a receptionist (the young man) so motivated in his job—I think he deserves a raise. You can find everything around the accommodation: restaurants, shops, a market, the beach, and the harbor. However, parking with a car is only possible further away. The room is perfectly fine; the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is good, and there is air conditioning. A great place to stay.

The location was perfect as were the accommodations.

The rooms were on the smaller side for 2 people with large suitcases however we always overpack! I also prefer an elevator but would give that up to stay there again. In addition, Marlin carried our bags up for us so as I said previously, that would not deter me from returning.

Marin the owner and manager was welcoming and friendly. Very keen to give us recommendations on the area and made us feel at home. We needed to stay 1 additional night and Marin was very flexible to accommodate us too. Great customer service.

Super service from the host, being available 24/7 for any questions and help with reservations etc. We where a family of 8p staying for 3 nights in 4 double rooms, all of us was really happy with the stay, would definitely recommend

Excellent communication from Marin who helped me find the property in Trogir Old Town, which is a bit of a maze. The property itself was immaculately clean and well presented. It had everything we needed including AC which is very important in this climate.
