My room was very nice and better than described with a nice size shower. I had a room with a nice size bed and a smaller bed for an additional guest which I didn't need since I traveled alone. The room also had a lovely balcony that was a nice size and I could hear the birds outside of my room everyday. The property was clean, nice and quiet. It was well manicured and there was a pool. It was a three minute walk from the beach. The staff was very nice, polite and helpful.

I had no complaints honestly. There was a lot of complaining in other reviews about this and that which I don't think was really fair. It is a nice property; not fancy but clean, simple and nice. Now if you stay on this property, it is in a very Dutch location with lots of Dutch tourists. If that is not what you are looking for, and want more of the actual culture of Curacao, then you should stay in Willemstad and Otrabanda. I was not aware of this when I booked so that did impact my stay but that has nothing to do with the resort. This is just an FYI.

We traveled with a family of 6 (4 kids) in August 2025 and stayed at this location for almost 2 weeks. The location is great: close to the beach, restaurants, super market. Rental car options are close by. All the staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast is awesome. Pool is sizeable and was never crowded. Overall there is calm atmosphere which we liked. Would love to come again.

At times there was a smell on the park and in one of the apartments.

Super Location near beach facilities. Room was perfect for us and as expected.

The bad communication of booking .com because the large SwimmingPool (top feature of location) was closed due to refurbishment. Also the Restaurant closed after 3 days until may-june . We have eaten and drinks were OK. The restaurant we did not missed after all. Small menu card and Hamburgers were pretty good! Pizza's ..? These were NOT pizza's ..

We enjoyed the Villa we booked very much, excellent location. We had breakfast on the veranda every day.The pool was also very beautiful. It was a short walk to the beach and the market nearby. All in all I would definitely recommend Livingstone Resort if staying in the Jan Thiel area

I was surprised at the lack of daily maid services.I had asked at reception and was told it was on our third day of our stay.

Tanya at the front desk went above and beyond her duties to accommodate us, she was the entire difference between a good stay and a great stay, she directed us to all of the right places to enjoy everything that the town has to offer. If you ever visit Livingston resort be sure to check out Tanya at the front desk. Tanya if you are reading this, thank you for making our stay memorable.

I stayed in a 1 bed room apartment. Very spacious and updated. It was excatly as pictured. Location is great, can easily walk to the beach, grocery store, and shops.

They only clean the apartments once every three days. I stayed there for four nights. I thought it would make more sense to have the cleaning one once in the middle of my stay not at the end. They don't provide anything to help you keep the apartment clean, no dish soap, pods for the dishwasher, paper towels, broom etc. I also stayed at Blue Bay those apartments did include that. There was one day where there was not enough pool chairs while some people had lounge beds and chairs. The staff did not help. This was not even at a prime time or season.

Nice area, close to the beach.. Thanks everything to Marisan at the restaurant and Dayna at the front office. The pool area is ok, pretty garden.

It 's an old hotel, try to keep it up.. The restaurant looks not so nice and there is no lobby at all. The room is okay, we have always problem with the bathroom's lightening. We spend 5 nights there, but the towels haven't been change at all.

6 minute walk from a beautiful beach. Beach passes were provided, but no one at the beach ever asked to see them. There was live music one night at the beach. 5 minute walk from a great grocery store where we picked up croissants, bananas and fresh squeezed OJ for breakfast on our beautiful shady porch. We were in a ground floor basic unit that had a view onto the garden. We saw beautiful birds including parakeets in the morning flying onto the trees. The pool was huge, very clean. Washrooms were provided at the pool. We spent an afternoon at the beach (where there are loungers etc for rent), but came back and preferred the quiet, lack of crowds and no sand at our pool instead. Everything was super clean and we regularly saw maintenance painting to freshen a unit.

Breakfast at the restaurant was very very expensive. Front desk clerk was quite unfriendly. When we arrived, they 'upgraded' us to an upstairs unit. Do not accept this upgrade if it is offered to you!!! The ground floor units have beautiful shaded porches. The upstairs units only have a canvas tarp, very inadequate for the sun. Some of them were even missing the tarp. It was quite dishonest to try to give us this 'upgrade'.
