The setting was lovely and the food delicious.

Getting some of the spa treatments was a little confusing at first, and not everything was available. However, a longer stay might have solved that problem. And staff was helpful at getting as much scheduled as we could in the time restrictions. Loved the massages and mineral bath and pool!

Old world charm, all but one staff member extremely friendly. A relaxing and restorative place.

It would have been nice to arrange a classical Czech spa treatment with a visit with a doctor. I tried to but was unable.

Luxurious stay with decent food and great wellness. I had a fantastic experience with a massage. Room was beautiful with a small balcony, comfortable beds, spacious with a good shower.

The breakfast buffet was just ok, the dinners ok.

It was our second visit and it totally met all our expectations! It is definitely our favourite hotel in CZ!

A kettle with tea and coffee available in the room would be lovely.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Our bed was comfortable and the room was amazingly quiet - I was surprised when I found out that a family with children was in the room beside ours. We made use of the free passes to the Aquaforum instead of using the hotel pool and spa. We booked the spa package and received a paraffin hand treatment (15 min) and lymph drainage (30 min). The park is lovely and we enjoyed some leisurely walks.

We had our evening meal at the hotel and as a vegetarian there weren't a lot of options, though they were able to accommodate me. I found in general the food catered to the tastes of an older clientele. Breakfast was fine. There was fresh fruit at both meals (apple, pear, watermelon, banana) but some was canned (mango, pineapple).

Very spacious and clean rooms. The building is historic and very well maintained. It is surrounded by a great large park. The check-in experience was great. We were running late, so the hotel called us to inform us that we would miss the dinner, so they offered us to prepare cold plates that would wait for us once we arrived. They brought these to our room. That was really nice! The hotel itself is kids friendly, although most of the guests were rather old and without kids. Our room was really big and we felt great there during our stay. The food in the restaurant was very delicious. Dinner was different every day. Breakfast was more or less the same, but had all the needed essentials. The hotel's own pool was really nice, the whirlpool was great. But the best was that they gave us free entry tickets to Aquaforum which is a spacious Therme just across the street. Aquaforum was really a 10 stars experience and not overcrowded. The hotel had reserved a parking slot for our entire stay (against an additional fee) which was very convenient. The location is great. The resort-town is small but very very nice (and quiet) and all buildings are historic hotels. Great large parks near the hotel. The hotel offers a great range of spa procedures.

The waitress during breakfast and dinner had an extremely bad attitude to us. Either because we were foreigners, or because we were with kids. At the same time she was nice to all the czech speaking guests. That was some sort of discrimination that I would never have thought we would experience in the 21st century. And she was rude to us from day 1 till the end of our stay. In any case this was one of the most rude attitudes we ever experienced in the entire world. Once her shift was over (after 3 days), the other waitresses that served us were extremely nice and polite. Probably we just had bad luck with the first lady. The personnel on spa-procedures did not explain anything about the procedures themselves and they were rather emotionless. At some point we felt like we were in prison, not in a spa-facility. For our Carbon Dioxide bath (which we never tried before) a lady literally shouted: "all off" (meaning to take all clothes off) and nothing more. The personnel really need more training on how to be polite and smile more. The massage was OK, nothing special though.

The Imprial Spa Hotel was visually very nice and had some nice facilities like a mini golf course in front of the hotel and some health/relaxation services in the basement. The location was great and right in the middle of the park. The big Aquaforum swimming park was just across the street, though it seemed all of the hotels send people there, as it was packed. The train station was a good 10 to 15 minutes away by foot and the bus stop to Cheb was less that 10 minutes away by foot.

We were disappointed for the amount of money we paid. There was a small private swimming pool and sauna in the hotel but nothing fancy. Breakfast was also a standard buffet breakfast, nothing spectacular, though they tried to offer a variety of items to choose from. We were also disappointed that our devices constantly had issues connecting to the (unsecure) wifi from the 4th floor.
