Beautiful location not too far from highway access. As someone “passing through” from Berlin to Vienna, I wanted to stay somewhere peaceful with my 2 dogs. The location was great for me and a beautiful scenic drive to get there. Staff were amazing! I only ate dinner in the restaurant but the meal was great and priced very fairly in my opinion. (23€ for a drink, appetizer and main)

If you’re staying in the main building, because it is an older timber building, the noise carries a lot. I was over top of the restaurant so i found it to be quite loud especially when they were shutting down for the night and opening up in the morning. In saying this I am 7 months pregnant so my “sleeping hours” are typically 9pm-7am. The noise stopped around 10:30pm and it was pretty quiet aside from the odd person coming or going from their room.

The saunas were absolutely incredible - a classic Finnish sauna at the lake and cedar wood sauna floating on a wooden pontoon on the lake itself surrounded by beautiful nature...wow! In general the hotel, cottages and all facilities are located in a super quiet natural spot. The staff very really friendly and food tasty.

The location was exceptional. If you are looking for a tranquil weekend getaway this is your place. Staff was friendly and very helpful and the restaurant on site was great as well.

The only downside is that all the beds are two singles pushed together which is very very annoying if you are a couple and the mattresses are sliding apart in the night.

The location was magical and the restaurant food was fantastic! I enjoyed sharing the space with birds and their songs. Some of the lodge rooms had balconies, which was really nice in the morning with a cup of coffee. There was ample space to wander around and explore the forest and meadows. A beautiful lake for swimming and a sauna (extra cost).

I thought the sauna was included in the price of the room (my mistake), but still a disappointment. The food can add up, it isn't particularly expensive, but unless you have a cabin with a kitchenette, it is really your only option to eat. There was a limited menu (really tasty!) that was a lot of meat, no lighter selections for when you weren't feeling super hungry. There also was a bit of a language barrier when trying to ask questions. I know I'm spoiled that English is widely used, but it is something to note if you are a non-Czech (or German) speaker like me.

The location is the best feature of the hotel. The food, breakfast and dinner was excellent. The rooms are clean and nice with modern equipment in the bathroom.

Other people not respecting the quiet hours. I.e people playing the piano downstairs at 23h00 or drunk people shouting in the hallway and in their bedrooms (next to ours) at 01h50... Please make sure that guests are reminded to respect the quiet hours rules.

Very friendly and kind staff, excellent location, beautiful natural setting, clean rooms. The breakfast is excellent and all made there, there is freshly baked bread and all sorts of homemade goods We have been here before and will return again.

Rural location. Friendly atmosphere, feeling that families/groups felt welcome and could find plenty to do. 'Traditional' feel of the place.
