We only had one night at hotel Kotyza, and booked it as it was close to the highway. However, you can’t hear the highway at all. The town is very charming and we were lucky to have a balcony facing the square. The staff were very helpful and friendly. If it wasn’t because we had to drive to our destination the next day, I would have loved to stay a few more nights and explored the area.

Location is great, with private parking and good breakfast. Also close to highway, so ideal for sleepover.

If you are visiting in summer the hotel does not have air-conditioning, so it can get warm. Also if you get room on main street side it gets very noisy as locals like to race across cobblestone street at night. No mosquito net on windows either. There is not a single electricity outlet close to bedside to change your phone. Simple extension cord would solve this.

This was by far the best hotel experience during our 2 weeks travel, which includes SAS Radisson and several other hotels in Germany and Sweden. This little Czech hotel offers way better services and facilities compared to the others. Why? You have large size windows which you can open to get fresh air. This seems to vanish from modern hotels. The room is great and you have lots of space. Parking is very easy, the location is superb. Staff is very friendly. I will definitely return! I recommend it very much if you travel with pets.

There is nothing I did not like.

I was only passing by and stayed for the night so didn't have too much experience but the room was big and comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was great. The big backyard private parking was a major bonus for us. The area looked great and as far as I could tell from the short stay the hotel is at the best location for sightseeing and other activities in the area. I will definitely go back for a little more time to explore the things around.

If I really have to pick something, the breakfast selection could be improved.

The entire place had such a special aesthetic. The staff spoke English. The rooms were beautifully decorated in a more vintage style. They were spacious and comfortable as well.

The only issue I had was the check-in. It was unnecessarily long and bureaucratic with printed papers and stamps and such. It just seemed excessive to me.

Location is excellent, rooms are clean. Stuff was very helpful and pleasant. WiFi was very fast. View from balcony is also very charming. Breakfast was tasty. In general, it was nice stay.

There was only two accessible power outlets on very strange places in my room. I had to charge my laptop on the floor. However, my coworker said in his room, everything was OK.

Great base to stay when exploring this area - easy parking, friendly staff and good airy rooms which were quiet at nighttime (I took a room at the back of the building facing the car park)

breakfast finishes at 10am! it would have been nice to have an extra 30 minutes sleep!!

Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Good location for travelling to Svetla nad Sazavou.

The hotel is a bit outdated and no elevator to the second floor.

Just a short hop from the highway, in the heart of the little town. The rooms on the backyard are very quite, however overlooking the parking lot. Parking is ample and free. Breakfast is simple but adequite and good quality.

The main street on the front side is very busy almost all night long, it is virtually impossible to keep the window open
