The building is wonderful. Yet old, it’s nicely renovated and the new rooms have a great vibe. Breakfast and dinner are great. Especially the buffet dinner is wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Staff is very friendly and speaks wonderful English, in case you’re not a local. You can park either on the public street, which looks safe, or grab a secured parking spot at €16 per night. We didn’t manage to visit the wellness, yet it looks great. There’s a massive park right next to the hotel. Allow yourself to take at least half an hour to supercharge your ‘zen’ here :)

The location is a little off the highway, so allow for a bit of travel time. But once you arrive, it’s worth it :)

We loved the spa area, it was exactly what we needed. The room was good size, beds comfy and breakfast had many options - there was even a table for gluten-intolerant people. Amazing! Great bar (amazing vodka sour!), good restaurant and amazing location! We loved walking around in nature. If you're not by car, there's an easy connection to the city - the tram stop is 5 min away.

We didn't realize there was no AC in our standard room. The room was a bit too hot. The room & the bathroom were a bit old, which we did not mind - but this information may be useful for someone else. It would also be nice to have a kettle and tea in the bedroom.

Every member of staff smiled or greeted us and we felt warmly welcomed. The hotel itself is an attractive building, set in hectares of parkland. We enjoyed a sunny evening walk by the Elbe. After our walk, we had a beer on the terrace overlooking the gardens. The guy in the bar chatted to us and made recommendations. The high-ceilinged restaurant is impressively airy and the steaks were perfectly cooked. Our bedroom was large, clean and comfortable with a good shower (over the bathtub). We slept well and then enjoyed a breakfast (extra charge and worth it) with a very wide selection. I recommend the Bircher muesli. Claudia on reception chatted to us as we checked out. When she found out that we were heading for Meissen, she said we would enjoy the Dorint Parkhotel there. Thank you Claudia - we chose to stay there and enjoyed that too.

Gardens, building, location. Also the chance to get a drink voucher if you skipped room cleaning service, that was a nice touch. The biergarten on Sunday was also nice.

For a 4* property i would expect more toiletries and a kettle with a small tea and coffee assortment in the bedroom. The complimentary 0.33l -0.5L water was nice but c’mon… it felt they are being excessively saving any tiny costs. And they also charge for the spa - just 6€ per person per day but not a pleasant detail. Breakfast was roughly 15-20€ per person, service very professional but super basic offer - bread was not fresh , cold cuts (ham, salami) were from the lower-shelf you can find at a supermarket. Tea assortment was great though! However i wouldn’t rather not pay breakfast and go somewhere in town. Or pay but up to 10€.

I was positively surprised by the beautiful location and the value for money. The staff was absolutely lovely and very helpful. We stayed just one night while travelling to a different destination, but we were comfortable and well rested.

One thing that I am not a fan of was the strange stairs you have to take to get to the elevators. Not a big deal, it's like a half-staircase, but not handy when you're with kids and luggage.

The hotel is ok, little bit old fashioned inside. But clean and the staff is friendly. I would rate between 3 and 4 stars. Located in park area, very quiet place and surroundings. Good place to walk around. River nearby. Nice views.

Some of hotel rooms do not have AC. The inside pool can hardly be used during the summer, cause its too warm inside (in my view). Restaurant area does not have AC as well.

this hotel is very well located in a very niice and green natural area ; the staff is very kind and helpfull we had a diner to the restaurant based on seasonal asparagus which was very tasty our room was more than large and very quiet

the furniture becomes a bit out of age ,and it will be time to renew it the bathroom was only equiped with a bathtub , and this is always risky to climb in and get a shower because this is slicy . and the movable wall was not really waterproof creating a water spillage on the ground

I was blown away with the property, it is a very historical but modernised building which rally is stunning. The outside terrace was lovely for a beer, and the restaurant is really professional. Staff were lovely, and the motorbikes could be parked right outside in plain view so very safe. Property is at the end of a long Avenued road and very private.

Great hotel. Great, quiet and beautiful location. Wonderful, spacious room, comfortable bed, amazing bathroom, everything clean. Perfect comfort for the price. Friendly staff. It's a shame I only stayed one night, it's a good hotel to spend a week in. Definitely recommend.

More like a small recommendation. It would be nice to have a little more lighting in the room.

Great big property set in a landscape surrounding. Quiet, spacious, with the breath of ancient times. Very easy to find, great chaussee leading to it, tram station just a few minutes away. Breakfast selection very pleasant with decent quality. Spacious breakfast room and a conservatory as a bonus. Very clean. Quick service. Didn’t use the spa area hence can’t tell.

Not much actually. Only the pillows could do it with a bit more filling. Otherwise everything is a bit dated but very well maintained and in order. A bit too busy with welcome emails closer the day of arrival.
