Night-time reception staff were great, helpful and informative. One U-Bahn stop from a huge shopping centre. 10 minute walk to U-Bahn station and 15 - 20 minutes on train to central Munich. Spacious room with sofa. Bathroom with a good shower. Restaurant with good choice menu and bar area. Swimming pool, sauna with an outside area. Really great breakfast options, well worth including at time of booking.

Some difficulty finding the hotel from the train station on the first night. Depends which exit/entrance used at station, for easier route to hotel. Day reception was grand for basics! A small fridge and a kettle for tea/coffee would greatly enhance the room facilities. Otherwise, nothing much to dislike, for reasonably priced, good value accommodation in Munich.

The hotel is on a beautiful quiet neighborhood, 7 minutes walk from the nearest station. Our room was spacious enough, cleaned as often we wanted, it does have air-conditioning. Wifi is good. The breakfast is really amazing, it has everything u can imagine and it gets filled as soon as it finishes. The staff is friendly. The pool and sauna are in a different building but it's a plus that u can use them for free and it's only a 2 minute walk. You can fill your water bottle near the elevator for free and it has a vending machine if you want to buy a snack or beer. The restaurant in the basement is a good choice if you don't want to go out, it has huge portions of food for a reasonable (for Munich) price.

Unfortunately the beds and pillows are awful. We stayed for 5 nights and didn't have a single good night's sleep. They are way too soft and uncomfortable. If the hotel decides to change them it would reach excellence because sleeping is really important.

Breakfast excellent - room clean,tidy with nearly all you could need - staff were always helpful,proffesional and kind - good value for money - near direct route into the city by U bahn at the end of the street - in a nice ,quiet freindly area.

Breakfast could often be very busy (although they do tell you the busy times) - maybe an extra half hour could solve the over busy period of between 9 and 10am. (end at 10.30 instead of 10am) Only other thing was the shower had a 'high' step in which could be difficult for older guests (maybe a small hand rail could help?).

Location is great near Messe Munchen for conferences - there is a shuttle bus to the Messe, or just one U-bahn stop to the Messe or like we did, rented a scooter for 10 min ride to Messe. The breakfasts were generous, with a fantastic variety of food and drink to start your day just right. The pool was perfect to cool down after a hot day. The neighbourhood is a lovely residential area for exploring and the restaurant provided large portions to feed us hungry business visitors.

My British colleagues complained there was no tea/coffee kettle inside the room.

The hotel was really nice and comfortable. It’s not modern, but it has a good feel to it. Breakfast was great – lots of options and a big area so it never felt overcrowded. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can tell they actually care. I forgot my toothbrush and asked where I could buy one, and they just gave me a new one with toothpaste, which was a really nice surprise. The price is reasonable, and the service is good. It’s a bit far from the city center, but the metro is only about 10 minutes away, so it’s easy to get around.

The rooms were exceptional, as was the staff and the breakfast. It really doesn't get any better, staying at a garden property with free bubbly water, sauna, pool, and gym. The breakfast must have had at least 10 types of bread and that many versions of coffee, tea, milk, and cheeses or cold cuts. There was even rollmops and Nuernberger sausage, along with three types of egg, soft boiled, hard boiled, and scrambled. I arrived by plane, then took a bus, then the S Bahn, a little more complicated than needed to be. I eventually figured out the best way to get to town, but keep in mind that it will still take about 45 minutes to reach the main tourist attractions. Regardless, I would still stay again at this hotel for the type of comfort provided at a reasonable price.

Distance from downtown, took some figuring out how to get there the quickest.

The bedroom and bathroom are very clean. The reception stuffs are really nice.

There is no refrigerator and microwave oven in the room (Although you can ask the restaurant stuffs to heat the food, it's not convenient). Most importantly, you need to pay attention to the distance from the central station, and set at least 40min of extra time to prevent delays in S bahn or cancellation of the bus (The sad story happened to me [CRY]). But it's really a good price to stay here, so it depends on how you weight it.

Breakfast truly is really good and they are well staffed, which makes for an easy, enjoyable experience.

The hotel smells like an ashtray. I don’t think it’s solely their fault. A lot of the guests I saw while I stayed there for 24 nights were older Europeans who smoked a lot of cigarettes. One morning while I worked near the lobby, a large group of people smoked right outside the entrance and the open door let the smoke into the hotel. I got up and closed the door, which helped a bit. In California, for example, it is illegal to smoke 5 feet from a main entrance because second-hand smoking has been proven to also cause cancer. I’m amazed Germany is not on the same page. In general, the hotel smelled like an ashtray no matter where I went. So, if that is a deal-breaker when picking a hotel, I would recommend finding another stay.

Very good hotel. Good facilities, friendly staff, everything was clean.

It was a bit far from the centre of Munich (but I knew it in advance and there is a metro station close). The problem is that there nothing in the surroundings of the hotel, only houses, basically. Also, one annoying thing is that the curtains were not black and they did not have any kind of blinds to make the room dark. So a lot of light was entering the room during the day and disturbing my sleep a bit.
