We have stayed here many times on our annual motorcycle tours although it has been a few years since our last visit. The hotel continues to maintain a high standard. The staff are excellent and speak very good English. It is easy to find with ample free car parking available. The rooms are large, clean, well appointed and very quiet. The food is excellent and very well priced - and the restaurant has a new robot waitress called Bella. Breakfast was just as good as we remembered too. There are also some renovations ongoing that will make it be=ven more appealing to motorcyclists.

We've stayed before and everything has been lovely and relaxing. Over the years, the hotel has expanded but managed to keep that valuable family run feeling. Plenty of parking, excellent food, great beer and lovely staff. The young lady in charge, Brigitte (in photo) is always happy to help with anything and always seems so happy. The whole team is friendly and helpful. This is one of our favourite places to be. The robot waiters are very intriguing as they deliver food to the tables.

We stayed one night after cycling from Baiesrsbronn, and were warmly welcomed by a gentleman at reception, even though we arrived earlier than expected. The room we had was spacious, and had terrace that was spacious enough for the two of us, a table and two chairs,, and had lovely flower boxes. There was secure and undercover parking for our bicycles. The breakfast was great with a wide selection, and there wasn't any problem to have as much coffee as desired!

I have stayed here many times over years of motorcycle travel in Europe. The food is excellent, the service very good, the staff welcoming and helpful and the location is good as a transit location for me between the Swiss Alps and the Black Forest roads North heading towards the Mosel.

I was disappointed to be placed in the very oldest part of the hotel this time, Given how many newer rooms there are now, since two recent extensions, most of them with balconies, I expected to be in one of those. Apparently booking a standard double through Booking.Com did not help my cause. I won't be making that mistake again !

Almost everything was great. The apartament is large, two separate bedrooms and living room, the view is great. The cleanliness and the cleaning service was about expectations.

A bit dark withing the apartament; the breakfest was a bit too simple.

The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The 4-course half-board dinner was excellent—especially the soup and dessert. The staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very peaceful.

Honestly, there was nothing to complain about during our short stay. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

The breakfast was amazing. There was all the standard buffet, fresh breads Cereals Jams, cheeses and meats, and there was always the offer of eggs however you like them. I have to say I had perfect boiled eggs every morning.

There was nothing not to like, The staff were so welcoming, The food was excellent. Service was amazing. The rooms were so clean and spacious. I could not find a single thing to say I did not like that.

Very nice Hotel, Clean and welcoming. Lunch and dinner were very good!

Breakfast display could have had larger quantity but as I understand they were closing for vacation days later. We did have breakfast which was attended by the very polite owner,

A lovely place with very friendly and helpful staff. Secure parking for our motorbike. Good base for moto ride outs.

Pillows very soft for our liking. Schenkenzell is great for walkers or cyclists but not much for sightseers beyond the ruins. As Brits we would have liked tea making facility in the room but it was no problem to get one, or a beer 🙂, from the restaurant and take it back to the room.

Lovely location, clean throughout, very friendly family run hotel with great service. Nothing was too difficult and the willingness to accept my poor standard of German language!
