Casa de Campo is understood to be the 'top' resort of the country and it did not disappoint. Indeed from the first complimentary cocktail at reception to both the level of luxury and extent of the facilities, all surpassed our expectation, surprising us anew several times with sheer variety. Exceptional SPA. Plentiful restaurants and a vast and stunningly beautiful area to explore. So enjoyed the golf buggy to get around. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

I guess, the perceived 'gouging'. Yes one expects the expense for such an excellent resort, but requesting a TIP on top of a service charge and tax charge results in an easy 50% (over) expenditure upon the displayed price. A bit OTT?! Also, why offer an accommodation upgrade (not for free), when care has already been taken with it's selection. If check-in is 4pm, one should not be made to wait. Notwithstanding the above, Casa de Campo is a wonderful destination and would not hesitate to go again!

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hotel offers a variety of services in Casa de Campo, like beach access or several good restaurants. Golf carts are offered for free and are the best way to move around.

Check in was slow and tedious, keys didn't work twice. At the restaurant, we had to wait and were denied a table at the terrace while plenty of tables were free and remained free. Everyday something didn't work: they left a garbage bag behind, forgot to replace towels... Everything is thought (and priced) for wealthy spoiled gringos - beware if you're not one of them.

Everything went very well. Restaurants were delicious, but they were expensive, priced similarly to NYC, but in the Caribbean. The beach was fantastic, as well as the different areas on the property, which provide a lot of variety for dining, shopping and visiting. Service overall was excellent. The rooms extremely comfortable and clean.

The food at the Minitas Beach Food Truck was bad. This is a discredit to such a great resort. We ordered shrimp cocktails, quesadillas, empanadas and french fries, and they were all very bad.

Staff and native population very warm and helpful. Food was great, but very expensive. Beach was beautiful. Golf courses were tremendous, although the greens on the Teeth of the Dog were very slow.

Gas guzzling golf carts, the jerking and bumping and the fumes.

The new Premium suites are excellent just across Teeth of the dog , which is a golfers dream!!

Check in and check out hours could be more suitable, but 4pm and 11 am? We had to request a late checkout and they were kind to give it to us. Check in process In the new Premier area is kind of slow or they need more staff. Once we were checked in everything was great

The property is huge, and it takes a while to get to places. The beach is 10 minutes away by golf cart. Very safe, nice staff.

Open-air restaurants and air conditioning do not work well. Service was very, very slow. The room charge/meal plans make no sense, and it takes way too long to check out.

It is a place to rest, quiet, very ecological, I liked it a lot.

I did not like that when I got there there was confusion regarding breakfast, no type of food was included and the prices seemed high compared to the type of food that was eaten.

It was during the Easter Holiday and it was overcrowded and our room was noisy close to the back of the restaurant and hearing all AC.

Casa Campo is astonishing, the number of restaurants, the quality of the service, the entertainment options, it was a pleasant surprise.

It is expensive, and value wise I did feel that it was not equal to how much you pay, especially in food and beverages.

Staff was so polite and efficient. The place is huge but we had a golf cart! The Marina, Altos de Chavon and Minitas Beach were amazing places, we had dinner at Causa and lunch at Minitas and then we relaxed in the adults only infinity pool. It was a short but wonderful stay, we got to eat delicious food and we enjoyed a lot.
