Excellent location on a peninsula surrounded by the sea and bay. Stunning view from rooms (especially if you choose the top 2 floors with bay view). Most of the staff was really very nice. We could still use pool after checkout, and they were very helpful in this regard. There are various spots with nice views on both sides of the hotel. Nice view on the seaside from the breakfast area. The dinner 35 EUR per person (drinks not included) was a good deal as we were disappointed in those few restaurants nearby hotel. In general, we were very satisfied with our choice.

In general we were very satisfied, but there were some things that could be improved. 1. Seemed that morning coffee (we mostly drank cappuccino) was made of an instant coffee and milk powder. I really missed a proper coffee. 2. Some food at the a la carte restaurant could be better tasting. The same applies to lunch at the poolside. 3. Parking space is limited.

location of hotel with panoramic views of sea and greenery is unbeatable. We also especially enjoyed that there are lots of areas to chill out and enjoy indoors/outdoors, shade/sun, beach or rocks, up and down. This made us feel secluded in every part of the hotel even though it was full

I am going to have to be picky here because everything was so amazing. There are a few small touches that could make this luxury stay even better such as: snorkelling equipment for guests to enjoy, nespresso coffee in room instead of nescafe, welcome fruit basket/wine on arrival, proper coffee and fresh juice at breakfast

We absolutely loved our stay at Akrotiri Beach Hotel. The staff were amazing, special mention to Vanessa, Jason, Yiannis, Elena and Eleni who went over and above to make our stay fabulous. The rooms are well appointed and the facilities are wonderful. A short walk down to the private beach and many lovely restaurants close by. The hotel offers a great breakfast buffet as well as dinner buffet. We would highly recommend staying at this fabulous resort. Efharisto to all the special staff members.

Leaving

It rained all week, on and off, but our holiday was not spoiled. We had an amazing view from our room and from the covered sun terrace in the public area. We did not eat dinner at the hotel, but there were some super restaurants close-by. Breakfast was excellent.

Paleokastritsa has no 'centre ville' but is a group of several small coves. However, we knew this before we got there. We walked to some other beaches - as it was not too hot - but there are also water taxis going back and forth.

The location, hotel is right at the beach, close to bars, restaurants and markets. The room, very comfortable bed, the view was amazing, the details very well thought ie you can charge tour phone directly with a cable rather than worrying about an outlet, doesn’t matter the room you get, you will always get a sea view. The staff, they couldn’t be nicer, everyone was always welcoming and accommodating, all our needs/requests were full filled with no problem. The food at dinner was very good, good variety, worth the price you pay. The free parking, even if there no spaces available you could leave the car with one of the staffs and they will park for you. The Amo Amo Bar is a nice touch since you have a waiter coming to you now and then in case you want to order food/drinks. There is a boat rental service/tours at the beach besides other activities which we found very handy to have it there.

The sun beds at the beach that belonged to the hotel didn’t have an umbrella, meaning you would be under the sun the whole time, considering was around 27 degrees, was not ideal. I have no idea why no umbrellas were provided but we used the ones from the bar at the beach that was free provided you were spending there. The size of the pool is very small considering the size of the hotel. The bedroom’s soundproofing could be better. There was an awful sewage smell that would be carried out with the wing now and then, we thought was something to do with the hotel but after driving around the island and smelling the same elsewhere we realized it must be something to do with the islands sewage system itself so it’s in noway the hotels fault.

We loved the location, the variety of places to relax, the amenities it had to offer, the buffet breakfast was fantastic. We loved everything and it was the highlight of our trip!

The room was poorly designed. The head of the shower was full of scale , the water was spraying everywhere. The hand shower hose appliances looked dirty or old. No coffee machine. There was a kettle.

This was one of those holidays where everything was PERFECT! All made so from the minute we pulled into the property. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the service was impeccable, furnishings really beautiful and modern, food delicious (breakfast was so good!) and the general warm vibe the hotel and staff offers was lovely to be around. Vanessa the concierge was exceptional. It was my birthday and she booked some amazing venues for us and had some great recommendations. (Make sure to book Monestre restaurant for dinner one eve!). There are so many different areas to hang out at the hotel. 2 different beaches and the pool (where we always got a sunbed). Make sure to try them all out! Absolutely loved our time here! You will not regret it.

We were in a group and all said one of the pillows was too hard but they replaced them with softer ones on request. Make sure to agree transfer prices with your driver before you leave if you are taken anywhere. The hotel said one thing and the driver doubled the cost. This happened a lot in general on the island so be cautious.

Hotel is greatly situated with I think the best view in entire Corfu island and trust me, we went everywhere on the island as we had to do a photo shootout of certain places. The pool is superb, but beaches around the hotel are typical Greek ones - lots of rock and do yourself a favour and buy one of those rock/swimming shoes/socks in nearby shop before going there - you gonna thank me later :) Breakfasts are also very good, maybe not superb, but very very good. If you are coming via car, the car park is big and you don't have to worry where to park. We also had room with jacuzzi and I highly recommend it - the view is superb when chilling in it.

Mosquitos - I was really surprised that there were so many of those blood thirsty insects around the hotel. They should invest in mosquito nets, as those are missing, but if you are not sensitive to noise above around 14kHz (or cant hear it), then you should be fine :) I can and I'm sensitive so I was spending some time each evening to get rid off those suckers. Other than that little piece I can only say positive things.

An incredible place—easily one of the best holidays I’ve ever had. The staff were outstanding—always smiling and genuinely happy to help with anything. Housekeeping was impeccable, with the room cleaned to a high standard every single day. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and a rotating menu each night to keep things interesting. The views from almost anywhere in the hotel, particularly the restaurant and bar area are breathtaking. We stayed in a Bay View room, which was lovely, but honestly, the views from both sides (east and west) are equally stunning—so you really can’t go wrong whichever room you choose. The beach was lovely—one of the quieter coves, with warm, beautifully coloured water throughout the day. Just a heads-up: if you want a lounger on the actual beach (down on the sand), those are owned by a separate company and need to be rented for the day. I wasn’t aware of this beforehand. However, there are plenty of high-quality loungers available for free on the cliffside, provided by the hotel. I personally spent most of my time by the pool. The views from up there are incredible, as it’s set higher on the cliff, and the bar and lunch area are right next to it—so you can easily order food and drinks straight to your lounger. Best dark rum Mojitos I've ever had. Mai Thai's were also very nice I ended up with post-holiday blues when I got home, which doesn’t happen often. We went for a week, but I definitely wish we’d stayed for two.

Rooms are a little noisy at night as its such a quiet area and hotel so the sound does travel. Beds were so comfy though that this was minor inconvenience. Wasn't every night and this happens at most places.
