The location is one hour of Tokyo and the hotel a 20 minute bus ride out of town. So, to se more it would be advised to hire a car, which we will do next time. We came here to rest and have respite from Shinjuku, Tokyo. This is real country Japan: mixture of rice paddies, forests, industries, research centre's and experience the working class living. The hotel and facilities is first class. The meals is fantastic, and the staff is so helpful. We did discover the Porche Experience Centre 9km away. What a blast !!

If you wanted to explore, it is probably slightly isolated, so you do need own transport. Although if you seek peace an quiet and rest, it is the perfect spot.

Very pretty hotel and grounds. Free parking underground. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We each had a different kind of room and two had views of the beautiful waterfall; one room had a view of the front of the hotel. Breakfast was great, too. 3600 yen. Two rooms had separate shower rooms and a toilet room. One room did not. Kid friendly hotel.

Parking garage is a little daunting but overall we loved our stay.

Kid friendly hotel facilities. Staff speaks some English. Very clean and comfortable. Gorgeous views of the grounds from some rooms.

Underground parking a little scary—so isolated at night. Scary even if it is safe Japan.

Most of the staff were nice. Everything was clean. The room was a good size.

The bed. I’ll have a pain in my back and neck for weeks from that bed. There was also no tea in the vending machines on our floor.
