Staying at this centuries-old castle was a truly special experience for our family. While the facilities aren’t as modern as a typical four-star hotel, the charm of sleeping in a real castle more than made up for it. The grand atmosphere, historic details, and scenic surroundings created a memorable stay. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool—spending two relaxing hours there was a highlight! The sauna was also a nice bonus. Just keep in mind that, given the building’s age, some areas may feel a bit dated, but that’s part of its authentic character. The real standout was the food—both breakfast and dinner were outstanding. My child still raves about it, saying it was the best European breakfast ever! The restaurant’s dinner menu impressed us too, particularly the perfectly cooked beef—so rich in flavor! If you’re looking for a modern luxury hotel, this might not be the best fit. But if you want a one-of-a-kind historic stay with fantastic dining, this castle is absolutely worth a night or two. We loved the adventure!

- Very little sound proofing. - Bathroom was tired and utilitarian (I think other rooms might have been renovated). Ridiculous hair dryer. - no lockers in the swimming pool changing area. - too many cold white light bulbs used. It gave our room and the restaurant a nasty, harsh light - two single beds, like it's still the 1940s

Well.. if you want to experience a day/night in the real castle- that’s the one to choose. Big stylish room with a modern bathroom. Very good restaurant (you may select the room) and a rich breakfast. You may visit the rooms on your own, all kept well but mostly converted into various reception places. Good for the families with small kids, they offer many activities. We stayed for one night and enjoyed the castle and a small park.

If you park too far, you need to drag your luggage to the reception desk. It would be nice to have a sign directing to the back parking lot in order to check in. Not a big problem when weather is nice.

The location of the castle is absolutely stunning. The surrounding area is fantastic and there are many activities: horse riding, kayaking, hiking. It’s a fantastic hotel to stay in with a dog and the large park surrounding the hotel allows for your pet to have a decent walk before bed and in the morning. Food was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful. We especially were pleased with the security arrangements as we travelled with a trailer and a motorbike. The security guard for fantastic and directed us to a special gated garage. We wish we could have stayed longer.

N/A fantastic place

The whole ambience and atmosphere were magical. Christmas decorations, illuminations, and gentle music were still playing when we entered the courtyard. The breakfast was plenty and so tasty. The same goes for dinner a la carte, which was also quite tasty. The rooms where the restaurant was were beautiful. We decided to tour the castle in the morning, and I think it was ok, it could be better though. The guide was new, and she didn't know that much and also we weren't shown many rooms, which I thought we would. Still, it was good to have a walk around. We also went horse riding in the forest. Very nice activity and a really nice lead.

I'm gonna be picky here, but I didn't like the overpowering smell of a canteen (not the kitchen; it was like the smell of a canteen, years of cooking and smoking, hard to describe) in the main hall and staircase. The room had no slippers (they could be taken from the reception, though). The parking was at an extra fee. I think, taking the remote location of the castle and the fact that the parking was external to the main castle, it should be free. The halls and rooms felt a little dated. Unfortunately, I think the whole castle could use some paint and the carpets vacuuming.

Location and the castle are very picturesque, rooms were nice and spacious (nothing spectacular but nice). You feel immersed in deep history of the place. Plenty to do if you like to walk around in nice places. Breakfast was just heavenly, both quantity and quality wise.

Well, lot's of squeaky floors and doors....but it's an old castle so it's kinda expected. Some staff members were a bit awkward (not bad or impolite, just a bit awkward :D). They close bars at the hotel at 22.00 and that's it, nothing nearby as well....be prepared if that's important to you. Toilet paper was bad quality

We got an apartments for 100$ a day and I think it is just the best opportunity for price/quality. The place is really beautiful, great food, personal helped us to order a taxi when pks missed us.

If you pay more then probably you expect much more clean hotel and better services. Then I heard it can be cold in Autumn and Winter, so think about it first.

Beautiful property with friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is wonderful with many choices. Front desk staff were extremely helpful. I had a facial at the spa that was amazing.

The housekeeping for our apartment was not good. We stayed 3 nights and the second morning we left the room at 9:30 with the please clean room sign on the door. we came back to the room at 19:00 and the sign was still on the door and no one had come. we didn’t have fresh towels or any toilet paper. The floor was not cleaned our entire stay.

Kitchen closes at 21:00 and there is no option to have meal anywhere afterwards

Great communication even before arriving. Our very large and nice room was perfect for my husband with limited disabilities. We had dinner which was also very good; and our waitress was VERY NICE and helpful with suggestions from the menu. The breakfast the following morning was amazing!! I took the castle tour which was in Polish only (I speak English ONLY); however, since the guide also spoke some English, it would have been helpful for him to just "occasionally" identify things in English. The parking was convenient and our castle stay exceeded our expectations. We would definitely return and we will recommend to family and friends.
