I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the experience was top-notch, and every aspect of my stay was memorable. Location & Ambience: Hyatt Regency Koh Samui is set in a picturesque location, surrounded by lush greenery and offering stunning views of the sea. The property itself is modern and elegantly designed, seamlessly blending luxury with the island's natural beauty. Rooms: The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. I particularly appreciated the clean, minimalist decor, which added a sense of calm and relaxation to the stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the views from the balcony were simply breathtaking. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was nothing short of exceptional. There was a wide variety of options to suit all tastes, from freshly baked pastries and tropical fruits to made-to-order eggs and local delicacies. The quality of the food was superb, and the attention to detail from the staff ensured a delightful start to each day. Pool & Facilities: The pool area was a highlight of the stay. With multiple infinity pools overlooking the ocean, it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. The entire poolside experience was luxurious, with comfortable loungers, attentive service, and a serene atmosphere. The hotel also offers a range of other facilities, including a spa and gym, which further enhanced the overall experience. Service: One aspect that truly stood out was the level of service. A special shoutout to the reservations team for going above and beyond in arranging a hotel pickup at very short notice. This kind of personalized attention made me feel truly valued as a guest. The staff throughout the hotel were warm, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile.

In Samui, I have visited several times, and the Hyatt Regency Hotel is one of the best choices for accommodation. The hotel is maintained at a high level in terms of hotel service and gastronomy. Room service is very professional, and the rooms are impeccably clean. The hotel complex is so extensive and well thought out that families with children can find entertainment and diversion here. Those who seek a peaceful oasis for relaxation can also find it without disturbance. The breakfasts are so rich that even during a longer stay, I could eat diversely and healthily. The breakfast staff made each morning much brighter for me. They were all so professional, helpful, and attentive that I would like to express my sincere thanks to them once again. I wish the hotel management and its employees many satisfied clients who, like me, will be happy to return.

Fabulous resort. Located a short drive away from the airport and main areas of Samui. The resort is very clean and the staff are very accommodating and helpful. Don’t listen to the negative reviews on the staff, because they do their best and always make sure you’re happy. The resort has a lot of activities for you to do during the week which is great. The staff member that can do the beat boxing is really funny and always made the day more enjoyable! He Always brightened up the day. Pools are always clean. I don’t understand the negative reviews on the beach because it’s literally just sand? I would bring wet shoes because there are some rock pools. Happy hour during 5-6pm and Thirsty Thursdays at the bar. Overall, 10/10.

Food and drinks pricing is too high, even with the Hyatt member 15% off discount. For a burger and king prawn risotto with a cocktail, average was £70 for 2 people. You don’t get much for that price. Otherwise, I would 100% recommend staying here. Compared to the rest of Thailand, it’s expensive and we always found ourselves buying outside food.

Everything looks just like the pictures! The room with private plunge pool was amazing and kids loved all the pools and waterslide. Staff is super friendly and happy to help you with any request. Amazing breakfast.

The beach sand was not comfortable and you cannot swim in the sea without shoes, there are sharp rocks. You need to drive to other beaches nearby.

The beach is rocky, so we weren't able to swim or lay on it. The room was too small for 3+1 persons, no place to put things. 5 min drive from chaweng

Although a larger brand, it had the feel of a smaller boutique hotel. The rooms were great with a fantastic bathroom and bath to soak in. Great range of bars and food. A choice of multiple pools or the beach with plenty of sunbeds to catch the sun.

Only one thing I didn't like was the shale based sand on the beach, however that was the only downside.

The service, food, room and facilities were all superb. It was perfect stay for a family of 4 with 2 small children. All the staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly and the children loved them. The food was delicious and there were amazing Thai, Indian, Western and kid options available. The breakfast buffet was incredible and changed a little each day. The room was bright, clean and spacious. The kids club was lovely and we played there with the kids a little each day. It was great that there was an outdoor playground too. The many pools including the kids pool were all fantastic. It is a gorgeous modern hotel with lovely green grounds. Great gym too. It is located only a few minutes from the airport and about 15 minutes drive away from Chaweng and Fisherman’s Village. I wish we could live there.

It was near perfect. The sand on the beach was a little rough, so we just preferred to swim in the pools instead.

It is a very beautiful and modern hotel. Staff is friendly and will do anything for you. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of choice. Nice and big rooms. The gym is well-equipped.

The beach of the hotel is not that nice, so don't expect to swim in the sea. The location is a little bit further away from the highlights, so you do need a scooter or taxi most of the time to get anywhere.

We stayed for 15 nights in the Presidential Villa, which was likely one of the best options for villa type of property stay in Samui with a family. It offers a split bed-and-living room. Both are huge and in extreme good condition. The view and the pool are simply "WOW. And so, the outdoor bath and shower. With all amenities that you can ask for and a private butler. With whom the communication was flawless btw. All staff is up and top professional and even the management very accessible. The Hyatt resort is amazing, it's kept utterly clean, offers a lot facilities plus activities and amazing views from every angle. Where the kids club (incl activities) and kids pool were adored by the kids. The food is great, especially the Indian food I must admit. You can decide to have breakfast at 3x different places, with the beach breakfast mostly not being very busy. And the lounge is a nice add, even though we did not visit it a lot. We loved hanging around the beach and drink fresh coconuts, where there was enough to discover for the young kids and to just relax even when the sea is not "that" accessible. You can still swim into the sea via the little water bridge the water is clear and no jellyfish etc. Transport is very well organized, we never had to wait long for a buggy but walking over the resort is very doable and Chaweng/Central at a 10 mins drive. We'd come back again.... ps: they have the best fireshow in Samui. It's the extended version, we've never seen anywhere else!

The hotel is beautiful!! Swimming pools are big and fun to swin in. Beautiful beach and view to the ocean. The rooms are spacious and clean, very comfortable, every little detail. The staff are very nice and helpful.

We didnt like the location. You have to take a taxi even if its a 10 minute walk because there is no sidewalks, very unconvinient. Every taxi will take minimum 300 baht even for 5 minutes drive to chawen.. Also the hotel restaurant is very expensive.
