The building itself is in a perfect location and is a wonderful manner house with use of kitchen, dining room, and reading room. Our room was the largest room we have had in Scandinavia. Good. The check-in was extremely easy and self service.

The listing should have mentioned that the bathroom, although private, is across a public hallway from the room itself. So if one wants to use the bathroom at any time, day or night, one has to go out of their room and across the hall to use the facility. I could write in the check-in was easy. Excellent location - right in the centre of town. Very comfortable room. Shared kitchen meant breakfasts were easy and then the cafes and restaurants in town were great for other meals. Just remember to check opening times and last order times. In particular don't expect anything to be open on Sunday morning - certainly everything was shut on our last day when we had been hoping to get breakfast in town after checking out and waiting for the ferry. We had a fabulous stay on Ærø and enjoyed a cycle ride up to Soby (great guy at Andelen bike hire) and the free buses were great. We also took the Marstal ferry to Rudkøbing - some lovely places to explore. Also a great place to just sit in a cafe and chill. Ærøskøbing really is like a village out of time.

The little white house is beautiful and cozy, with vintage furniture that exudes an artistic atmosphere. The town is very peaceful and quiet, and the house is located in the town center. The kitchen, coffee, and tea are available for free use. The host is very friendly and can provide detailed help and answers to any questions.

The location is very convenient. It is close to the main square of the town. Room no.2 was spacious and the view was great. The bathroom was in good condition too. Collette was very nice as she kept checking if everything was fine.

The stairs of the house would be a bit challenging for people who have a big or heavy piece of luggage

This centrally located property - which occupies a deeply historical building - exceeded all of our expectations. An absolutely ideal base for an elopement/wedding. The interiors are exceedingly stylish + tasteful and photograph spectacularly well. Fantastic kitchen and Netflix/Sky cable available. Colette is a gentle, attentive and discreet host... again, ideal for a personal, intimate stay. Room 2 is stunning and strongly recommended.

Shared bathroom sounds ominous, yes. However, the property is so intimate and cozy that it's no imposition whatsoever. Please don't let it put you off this magnificent property. Room 1 has its own bathroom but it's a little bit of work: this is a period property and 'updating' the facilities would mean destroying everything that makes it special! Well worth a very minor inconvenience!

Interesting historical features gave the property a unique character. Having a shared kitchen was useful. Being offered fresh herbs from the garden was a nice touch! Good location.

The floorboards are a little creaky. If there were more people than just us staying we would likely hear people moving about all the time. But luckily it seemed to be just us. Note that it is not actually a b&b nor is it beachfront; not that it mattered to us but it seems to be a silly booking.com error.

Beautiful place right in the heart of the city. Spacious and very tastefully decorated. Would always come back. I loved the common spaces and that there is a kitchen available too. Highly recommend. Collette was very helpful and responsive too.

Perfect location right in the heart of the beautiful Ærøskøbing. The owner Collette is very nice The room is equipped with all one needs: chest of drawers, comfortable bed, plenty of towels and toiletries.

The hardwood floor is a bit noisy, but that didn’t create any trouble to us. The other guests were very considerate and we slept beautifully
