The hotel location is a about 10 minutes drive by car to centre or slot parking place . Nearby shopping malls, the area is peaceful and super quiet. Swimming pool small , clean and deep enough for swimming. Bicycles available but only for short distance, just like city bikes.

All fine , we booked standard and got standard .. means no water bottles or options for coffee / tea , no fridge in the room . However staff was very kind to inform me about free coffee downstairs in Automat during breakfast time . So possible to arrange for an early morning pick a coffee. No room cleaning for 2 nights .

Well my arrival at Scandic Sønderborg I was so excited about their environment, secondly the staff’s were helpful in everything, the timing of everything you can use in the hotel, I will also book Scandic hotel when I visitSönderborg again .

Hotel room was clean and there was a nice gym with enough possibilities for training.

Room was verry hot in the summer. nothing special for this price.

Late check in. we got very delayed and it was not a problem. And the breakfast was a great experience for my ukrainian sister in law.

Carpets in corridors looks untidy, but they where not dirty.
