Really good accommodation for a couple travelling as the room had facilities so we could store our food and make drinks and a meal. Comfortable and clean. Great that no pets allowed as I do have an allergy to dogs and cats which can cause asthma. Much appreciated.

We didn't like the breakfast giving us no choice as we don't eat meat. We told the kitchen staff in the morning this and were told to leave it on the tray so we didn't have much food with no alternative. Terrible waste of food too.

Lovely property with loads of parking. Beautiful large room - towels were particularly soft. Lovely breakfast with lots of local produce - highly rated the cheese and apple juice and the pate was especially nice. The shop, which is part of the facility, has a wide variety of items for sale and the butcher shop looked particularly inviting (sad we were unable to make use of this as we were travelling onwards).

No bad points to mention

We spent two nights in Rønhave. A very tasteful bed and breakfast hotel. Our room was nordic spartan but very, very tastefully furnished. We wanted for nothing. Our breakfast was very tasty and our hosts very nice. It's a bit of a walk to Sonderburg, but as we had our bikes with us, it wasn't a problem. We were rewarded with peace and idyll.

The only downside is that there is no way to securely lock the bikes. But here, too, our hosts accommodated us. We were able to lock our bikes to the railings.

If you're looking for the famous Danish hygge, then Rønhave epitomises it. We loved the rural setting just 10 minutes north of Sønderborg. The on-site boutique and butcher are must-visits. Our breakfast was light but filling. The host is interesting and inspiring, and it is clear that great care has been taken to select only the best possible local or regional ingredients, furnishings and toiletries. Also, the view from the upstairs bedroom is pretty darn fantastic.

The property is a lovely farm on a tree rich plot of land. The room was nice and spacious. Great for a family of four. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast suburb. All home made and locally sourced.

We didn’t see the owner when we arrived, nor the next day. I always find it a pity especially in when staying at a small B&B.

The history, the charm, the heart of this place is truly special. Hands down, one of the top hotel experiences i've ever HAD in my life! This place is just so so so unique and special - especially the breakfast and the view from our window during Sping time.

Exceptionally beautiful and peaceful out-of-this-world location. Delightful, sumptous breakfast with local products. Everything (bedlinen; towles et.al.) of a quality well above comparably priced b&b offers in the area. Genuinely friendly, helpful staff - their engagement in the place is infectious. Summing up: Staying at Rønhave feels like a shower for your soul. NB: Guests with any walking disability should make sure to book a room on the ground floor.

Breakfast and staff were wonderful. Location is beautiful. Facilities are nice.

Rooms were a bit hot. No screens on windows, so there were bugs in our room quite a bit. Windows need to be fixed so they can stay open properly.

Amazing place, quite, comfortable, beautiful, old building but gorgeous, who ever said breakfas was amazing, they were wrong, it is beyond INCREDIBLE, so simple yet delicious, check-in was easy, I would recommend this place and if ever comeback will stay again and again!!!! Thank you!
