The front desk staff were great, friendly and helpful, made me feel welcome - not just expected! It's an older building - which is charming - connected to a restaurant - also charming and serving delicious food - especially the breakfast! It has a few quirks.... but it added to the overall experience.

I'm a pillow guy - I need two or three to prop up older body parts in order to sleep comfortably. In this hotel there were an assortment of throw pillows on the bed and I was able to use them to successfully get a good rest - but I'd like to have four full pillows on every bed I sleep on....... I can dream!

Amazing location and wonderful BIG room with a BIG bed and a BIG flatscreen TV with a convenient placement. No noise at all - but, well, the room is a bit expensive. Good value-for-money, however, and the location is exceptionally GOOD close to shopping, MANY restaurants, the railway and bus station and the harbor with several passenger-ferries. Everything within easy walking distance...

Nothing at all

Our room 310 was the uppermost room in the "tower" part of the hotel, just over the road from the reception. This room gave a lovely, panoramic view of the harbour and surrounding roof tops. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful with information about Svendborg and what to visit. Svendborg, being a fishing port, is full of restaurants serving great seafood.

We were on the third floor of the old part of the hotel which does not have a lift. OK when you are young and fit but a bit of a hike when, like us, you are on old age pensioners.

Me and my partner stayed here for a week and loved it. The staff are friendly, the location is great and the restaurant was amazing!

The shower taps could do with upgrading. It was always so hard to find a good temperature

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, very well furnished and decorated. The balcony was amazing and we loved the light. We wish we had booked it for longer! Will def recommend it to anyone stopping in Svendborg. The location was perfect too: just ideally located between the city center and the port with all the nice boats from the Museum.

It did not bother us but it could be useful to note there are no lifts to take you to the apartment which is on the second floor.

Central location, Big room, clean. We asked if we could check out a bit later as our toddler needed to nap and that was not a problem and required no extra cost. Great service and super good restaurant

A bit outdated and might need an upgrade soon but everything was clean and functioning well.

The size of the rooms were great. Being able to have a sitting area as well was so nice. The location was fantastic so close to the water and the main city centre.

The bathrooms and rooms are a little updated and the key ring that the keys were on was so heavy.

Breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of food offered. The view from the room was wonderful and the room was spacious.

There was no elevator and it was difficult to haul our suitcases up the stairs. The decor was dated.

Great little hotel. Beautiful old fashioned lobby and bar upon entry and the rooms were huge and well appointed. Even had a small separate kitchen room. Highly recommended.

Nothing at all to say bad against the hotel. Couldn't check in early, but they told this before I got there and they were happy to watch my luggage whilst I went and explored the town.

The breakfast was amazing and the staff was very friendly! Victoria was so, so sweet and very helpful!

The bathroom and shower were smaller than normal.
