The garden is such an amazing work of art. The history of how the original owners transformed the property into a beautiful paradise, is incredible. Coming this time of year was also perfect because of all the flowers. Just stunning. The hotel is also so special with all the Japanese artefacts. We will definitely return. Offering free coffee all day is a nice touch, too.

Nothing really. Just maybe a recommendation to add directions for how to open the window and how to use the Japanese toilet. We eventually figured it out, but directions would be helpful. 😉

The property is located a little outside Herning in a quiet residential area. The rooms (I have stayed there twice) are fantastic and excitingly decorated. Everything feels brand new and everything is in top condition and perfectly clean. The staff is accommodating and friendly. The breakfast room is adjacent to the fantastic Japanese garden outside. The breakfast is good and you can have breakfast very early in the morning, which is not possible in all hotels. All in all, you feel very much at home and you sleep well because everything is so quiet around you. Nearby there is a supermarket and a kebab restaurant which are perfectly fine. There are probably more that I haven't discovered, but you can get by with these two shopping places and it's not far to Herning.

The garden is obviously spectacular! It is the main draw to staying here. We spent a lot of time walking around and admiring all the love and detail put into it. I do recommend getting a room with a balcony, so you can see the garden from your room. The Japanese decor in the house creates a special atmosphere. The host was very welcoming and helpful. This was the most personal experience we had in Denmark so far. Very accommodating! Another highlight was the breakfast! There was a big variety, with lots of healthy freshly cut fruit, the eggs were boiled perfectly and everything was nicely presented. Delicious!

The rooms are on the smaller side, but all necessities are there. Some of the facilities feel a bit dated.

Nothing really but maybe it's better not to put "full name" on the apartment door as a welcome because of security reason.

Very rarely do I give as 10/10 but this place deserves it well. I especially liked the Japanese decor, the attention to detail throughout the accommodation and garden is fantastic, it's the best Japanese themed building I've been to outside Japan. The common area with coffee machine, reading chairs and tables is great, there's also a large communal fridge. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, I liked sleeping with the window open to hear the waterfalls trickling all night. Easy parking and plenty of it, it's in a good area so street parking would be safe. A few minutes walk from a supermarket and the train station for regular trains to Hjerning and Aarhus. Very friendly owner (Niels) who speaks good English. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely nothing, although the electronic PIN code operated door locks took a little getting used to.

The unusual property which is very well kept up. The positive attitude and helpfulness of the owner. The willing attitude of the other guests to help understand how the coffee machine works. The cleanliness of the rooms and modern facilities.

Wow, what a wonderful B&B with a fantastic garden. The garden is worth visiting by its own. Nice size room. Interesting Japanese inspired interior. Ample storage. Heated toiled seat. Tasty breakfast. Friendly host.

I stayed at the property for one night with my son. The experience was excellent from all points of view. The place is extremely original, with attention to every detail, the garden is absolutely wonderful, and the breakfast is very neat and inviting. Very special place!

Very nice location and different style compared to standard hotels. Easy to check in.

The pillow was quite unconfinable but I guess this is very subjective. No fan.

We loved the studio apartment with access to the back garden, the living area was spacious and comfortable.

More pillows needed.
