I have been to this hotel many times, but this time I was positively surprised - the newly renovated rooms make a difference. The price is always a bit on the high side, but you also get "a little extra" compared to other hotels... coffe/tea maker in the room, conditioner in the shower etc.

It is a chain hotel and thus a little impersonal.

The breakfast was excellent, good variety. Extremely central position with walking distance to town, the lakes, shopping and transport.

We stayed at the hotel twice, first 4 days then we returned for a further 3 days. The bed was more comfortable at our first stay. However larger pillows would very beneficial.

The hotel is very big and located close to the center and 500 meters from Tivoli gardens. It is a congress hotel, so all the area of the entrance is built for conferences. There isn't a lobby. The rooms are great, super comfortable, high-class. Nice swimming pool, but to find it you need a map. Also, big parking and easy to find and enter the hotel.

Lounge - food variety should be richer. Front desk staff should be smiley and less grumpy

Hotel was clean and calm in a very nice location. Breakfast was just amazing - by far the best we had during our trip to Denmark! Our room was spacious for a family of four.

Hotel was probably trendy about ten years ago. It has, however, aged gracefully. Lack of gym was the only thing we can think of as a negative feedback.

We got a parking ticket which was taken care of by the hotel, to which we are very grateful!

We arrived late and got 2 rooms on seperate floors which is inacceptable with children (we booked rooms near each other.) Only after insisting and waiting for the manager we got rooms on the same floor.

Central place i Silkeborg, parking facilities, in-house restaurant, great breakfast, smart ironing brad. Staff was very professional. Clean atmosphere.

Small details: The floor in the room was creaking. We would have appreciated some more towels.

Great location in a wonderful building

Maybe it was just our room, but there seemed to be a good bit of background noise especially at night (buzzing, tapping, humming).

The room overlooked the water and the walk way below. It had a ledge to put things on and a stool to look out. you could see what was happening in the area. The room was very clean and efficient. The bed was comfortable.

Didn't think the dinner would be what we wanted. A couple of other choices almost next door.

Drinks seemed expensive; about £13 for a beer and a tonic water!

The hotel location is brilliant, quiet area and only minutes walk from the centre. Parking was very easy and free! The hotel was very Danish, clean, uncluttered and straightforward. Several restaurants were adjacent to the hotel if you fancied a change and a supermarket just around the corner.

We didn't like the beds, they were small, low and not what we were use to. Room size was on the small size too but big enough.
