This place is really great...staff extremely helpful and sympathic. Ultra clean and comfortable. Located on a hill (very steep roads but this is standard in Dominica) above Picard, the southern part of Portsmouth city. View is amazing on the bay. Top WIFI and good breakfast. Small refreshing swimming pool.

Not that easy to find unless you got a map. Without a car I would not much recommend as the main road where buses are stopping is a good 10 minute walk down...but probably more up due to steep roads. On this road are lots of restaurants and food shops. I was quite surprised but my room did not get TV channels despite big flat screeen. Still, the very helpful lady working that day provided me her Netflix pass so I could watch movies. Also YouTube was available for some "live" watching.

The staff, the ladies were fabulous, excellent service and always with a smile! Delicious breakfast was included Great with restaurant with excellent dinner options The sea view was amazing and the rainbows, wow!

Pricey for a 3 star hotel, but hotel prices in Dominica are surprisingly high Mosquitos, so do bring repellents.

A hidden gem. After enjoining the wild and beautiful nature of Dominica, this is the place to be when you’re on the north side of the island. The staff is super friendly, the facilities and the view are very enjoyable and the food is excellent. Highly recommended this place!

1. The breakfast and dinner meals were exceptional. The dining staff was extremely competent, helpful and pleasant. 2. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. 3. The views from the dining area as well as the porch for our room were perfect.

The Champs hotel is like home away from home. The staff was very friendly, especially the kitchen staff. The view is exceptional.

We had such a lovely stay at The Champs. The rooms have everything you need along with little touches like cold water in the fridge and nice body wash and shampoo. There was a table and chairs so you could sit on the balcony and enjoy the breathtaking view. The staff were incredible. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The fresh baked bread... just wow!

It's a beautiful accommodation with a very helpful host. There is almost nothing to complain about.

In the long run, the good breakfast gets a bit monotonous. More vegetables would be good.
