An overall very nice place to stay in Puerto Villamil (basic hotel, but absolutely fit for purpose and had everything I needed and wanted). Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Fast internet. I was even able to check in early as I had arrived a few hours earlier than intended.

Only thing: the curtains don't really block out much light, so as soon as the sun rises, the room is getting bright (for those who don't like sleeping in daylight)

The room was large and airy. Very clean. Breakfast was probably the best on the island! Absolutely wonderful. And breakfast hours are early so you can still have breakfast and make the early tour. Was provided name of tour agency Tunels Ocean which was amazing. Did the Los Tunels tour with them...tour guide, Alexis is son of the hotels owner. Price of hotel/value was great! Absolutely recommend!

Internet is spotty, which is same across Galapagos. Pillows are a bit hard.

Great location, spacious rooms with great air conditioning. Comfortable beds, hot water with plenty of shower pressure and very quiet. Walking distance to just about everything. They came and "cleaned" the room but not as thorough as most other places, sufficient enough though. They let you store your luggage for the day when it's time for you to leave the island and will even call a cab for you to take you to the dock or airport. $4 to get to the airport.

After check in if you didn't see the staff at breakfast, they were nowhere to be found. We needed an additional roll of toilet paper and couldn't find anyone to get it, so we had to go to the market and buy one, the market is literally next door. They have starlink, but even with that the connection was mediocre at best. Most times we were getting less than 2Mbps. If you have online work to do, you likely won't get it done here, but that's pretty standard on Isabela Island.

We had a great stay, Jose and Juanita are both lovely people. They made you feel safe and well looked after. The breakfast was delicious each morning that Juanita cooked for us, they went above and beyond and are extremely chilled. We did our laundry with Juanita which smelt beautiful. Our room was super spacious, comfortable beds, clean, it had everything we needed for our stay and exploring Isbabela. I also left my purse in a restaurant (stupid me) round the corner and Jose went above and beyond to try locate this for me. My purse was found and Jose put this on a plane to San Cristobal to return to me. I’ve never met such lovely and kind people! Thank you

Our room was spacious and bright. It was cleaned every day. Hot showers were always available and the Internet connection was reliable. A substantial breakfast was included and cool bottled water was available for refills all day. The location was perfect

It would have been nice to have a bit of external space but it wasn't essential.

The two owners are so so nice and patient and helpful. They spent an incredibly huge amount of time every day to help us with all our requests and bad preparation ;-) The tour they organised was excellent and cheap (never book online, always directly!) and they easily got us ferry tickets. All of that on very short notice (for the next day). The hotel is like 5 min from the center of the city and clean, the beds are comfortable, the water pressure okay. The main benefit of booking this hotel is clearly the two owners. They are so nice and caring, I just can't find the words to describe how that felt...

The air conditioning can't handle the day heat and it gets really hot (my wife was ill one day and stayed in bed). But it's totally fine in the evening and at night. Usually you are not in the room during the day. The breakfast is very sugar based besides the scrambled eggs (sweet yoghurt, granola, fruits, croissant, orange juice). Even if fruits are healthy and the orange juice was freshly squeezed (at least it tasted like that), it still contains sugar and that's just too much for breakfast (or for a full day in this matter). Chairs in the rooms would be nice and one small towel per person

Great location, near Main Square and Puerto Villamil beach. Good daily breakfast. Daily housekeeping, clothes line outside for drying clothes. Free w drinking water. Very nice owner who is also a taxi driver. He took me to the ferry at 5 am for $5.

Frequently unavailable and slow wi-fi. Saw a big cock roach in the room on my last evening.

My room on my frist night was sinply awful! Could hear all other guests’ talking, sewage smell coming into the room and cockroaches due to a construction in the sewage system! But Alexis helped me change my riom the next day and that room was simply perfect!!

Our room was spacious with three double beds, air conditioning and en suite bathroom. The entrance was well presented too and great location near the town centre.

We arrived and no staff were there. I had to go to a nearby shop and luckily they knew the owner and called so we ended up only waiting about 20 mins. Also, they didn’t provide enough towels but it wasn’t a big issue.

Good location, two minute walk and you have a strip of restaurants which is handy. Only 15 min walk from the ferry port so that was good and having breakfast included was bonus. The breakfast was huge and tasty. Our room was lovely and large and the A/C was a welcome addition.

The owners weren’t always present on the reception desk so if we had questions etc it was best to ask at breakfast when someone is around
