Basic room but great for the price. A little off the main road so quiet in the evenings but within walking distance of everything. Staff were super friendly and really accommodating letting us check out later so we could still have the morning before leaving for the ferry.

Breakfast is 6:40 - 8:00, great as a lot of trips leave at 7:00 but not great when you hear everything being prepared at 6:00 every morning.

Cecilia and her family were wonderful hosts. They made everything EASY... from a delicious breakfast in the morning to the ease of booking group excursions to the hot shower you came back to it was great experience. I already miss the hanging chairs. A short walk to the beach, and restaurants.

My room was about 10 feet from a WiFi single, but the WiFi worked great in the common areas so maybe it was not a bad thing to be able to disconnect.

Gran Tintorera was everything we needed during our stay at Isabela! The breakfast was delicious and fresh each morning. The staff were amazingly helpful & always kind. Our room was clean and spacious!

We were on the first floor, so heard quite a bit of noise when breakfast was being served (but we were up anyways). Also would have preferred to be closer to the beach but overall, wasn't a big problem.

They need to update their Booking.com listing. My card pre-payment was never taken in advance (as it said it would be) and then we were told we'd have to pay fees on top. Thankfully they let us off after much back and forth, but details should be more clear.

we got to the hotel and they didn’t have room for us (we had reserved months in advance). they did however move us to a « sister Hostal » across the street. Hostal Sandrita- the rooms were incredibly clean and the staff « Marci » was absolutely amazing! she took the time to tell us about the island, where to go and was always available for questions.

Hostal Sandrita does not have a television in the room (which we thought was fine but others may not).

Nice staff, good price, good breakfast (partly buffet + egg-kitchen). Some minutes to walk to the center and the beach. Possibility to have a shower after check out if you take the afternoon ferry and free shuttle to the ferry.

The ferry pier is generally 20min walking distance from the city. Nothing negativ concerning this hotel, but the only negative thing about Isabela.

Gran Hostal Tintorera was a lovely stay just a few minutes walk from the beach. Cecilia was very helpful and accomodating for us as the ATM was not working so she offered us alternatives. The breakfast was nice in the morning and it was a very comfy bed in a quiet room. The room and bathroom were both very spacious and both were well equipped. Good location and easy check in/check out. We were also able to do some laundry whilst we were there which was really beneficial for us.

It would be fab to be able to use the kitchen to cook during our stay. I read question regarding the kitchen and it said it would be ready after November but during our stay in December it wasn't ready. Also there were ants in the bathroom which weren't a massive issue but might be good to look into some preventative measures for them :)

Very nice staff! The tours that we made started there. Good breakfast. Good location. Big room and good bed.

Amazing place to rest. The host was extremely helpful and honest with the planning of every activity we wanted to do. She organized everything for us without charging us extra. Great breakfast and very comfortable room.
