Nestled in Cairo’s vibrant Dokki district, the location is a colorful blend of lively streets, colonial architecture, and embassies, just a 3-minute walk to Dokki Metro and a pleasant 10-minute stroll to Zamalek. The neighborhood buzzes with street food stalls, cozy restaurants, coffee shops, juice bars, and bakeries, making evening walks to the Nile River a delight. While Dokki’s main street can be noisy, as is typical in Cairo, the hotel’s soundproofing ensures a peaceful retreat. My room was spacious (over 40 sqm), thoughtfully designed, and equipped with a fridge (a must in Cairo’s heat) and all essential amenities. For two weeks, it felt like a comfortable home away from home. The staff was warm, professional, and always ready to assist, adding a personal touch to the experience. Daily complimentary water, coffee, tea, and sugar were thoughtful gestures. As a frequent global traveler, I value hotels that blend high standards with local charm, and this hotel delivers exactly that. Its convenient location (paired with Cairo’s efficient Uber service) and outstanding quality far exceeded expectations for the price. I’m already looking forward to returning to Cairo and staying here again—my perfect temporary home in the city. Highly recommended!

My booking was upgraded (free of charge) to a larger room (room 1006). It was spacious with a dining table, a service area, a living area with a sofa and TV, and a king size bed with another TV. The room has a great northern view of the neighborhood that I’ve enjoyed looking from. Also, the location is excellent where all amenities can be purchased from walking distance (e.g. restaurants, groceries, SIM services, clothes, pharmacy, tableware, detergents, etc.). The hotel has a ground entrance with security staff 24/7 to ensure the safety and comfort of guests. The reception and the restaurant were located on the 1st floor where I was serviced professionally by the kind staff. On my first day of staying at the hotel, I was hospitalized by a plate of fruits (free of charge). Also, each day after I was provided with a 1.5 letter bottle of water and tea supply free of charge. I love their attention to these details that can really make your stay a breeze. The room was clean and the room service was excellent. I really liked that hot water in the bathroom, as well as the room heater were working perfectly. This was very important for me as I went to Cairo during the Winter, and it can get really cold late at night. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at Cairo Taj Dokki Hotels & Suites and I loved the staff. I will definitely repeat my stay there whenever I revisit Cairo. In addition, I would like to thank the Booking team for providing an airport shuttle by Rimo Tours free of charge.

Very nice staff, especially reception personnel like Mr. Mohamed. Also, breakfast was amazing and staff incredible, manager Mr. Sameh was always there checking on all guests to make sure everything was perfect, food always filled, tables clean, ... The whole stay was amazing, amazing location, spacious rooms, great amenities continuously refilled. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay incredible.

The staff is really kind and tried to provide us the maximum comfort possible. For instance, in the second day, they sent a basket full of fruit and some drinks to our room without charge (even the person that delivered us the basket did not accept any tip, which was really nice and surprising considering you are in Egypt). The bathroom is really good (european standards), with everything you need. The beds were super comfortable. It was really pleasant to sleep there.

The hotel did not accept payments by card, which was a bit inconvenient - I believe this is because the hotel is new and they did not handle that yet. Nonetheless, the hotel told us that was not a problem and that we could pay the next day. The view from our room was not the best but this did not bothered us much. The street in which the hotel is located is a bit messy but this is true for like 95% of the streets in Cairo. You had have to stay in a big chain of hotels like Intercontinental, Meriot, etc to avoid a messy street.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. The staff was amazing, the room was spacious and clean. We were greeted with fresh mango juice, the fruit basket was sent to our room. We felt special. It was easy to reach all destinations from this location. We were able to eat either on the premises or right next to the hotel.

Very clean and unexpected high level rooms The security 24 hrs no need to be worried about it The room above normal standard and the staff are very helpful all the time haitham there manger, front disk staff loai ,mohamed and Christina are very cooperative very professional they upgraded me for no charge cause i didn’t like the room only There is ATM & bank on the left side so if u need cash and exchange and it close upto 10 pm All restaurant in-front of you McDonalds and Starbucks its only 5min walking I didnt try there breakfast so i cant rate 🙏
