Perfect located, close to old Egyptology Museum, restaurants and shops near by. Room 4* size, a bit old, very comfy beds, coffee stand ok, super view to the Nile and square, excellent espresso in the lobby.

Breakfast was not so tasty, but enough food to choose from. Seem a bit not perfect clean and low quality food. The omlete guy was not professional. It should be better for 100$ room in 3* hotel downtown.

This hotel deserves its 3 stars, it has an old style, but everything is intact, well-kept and clean, but I advise you to pay a little more attention to the cleanliness of the room. Breakfast is simple, but everything you need is there to gain strength for the coming day. What I liked most is the location of the hotel, it is in the very center of the city, everything you need is nearby, the windows have a beautiful view of the square. Would I like to return to this hotel again? Most likely, yes.

Breakfast was superb and delicious. So many choices, you can't eat them all! Loved the salads, dips and bread, eggplant, falafel, everything since we had 5 breakfasts in all. Staff were all very friendly, respectful and helpful. Room service was excellent. I highly recommend Cleopatra Hotel!

The shower area could be better if the glass door closed completely to avoid water spillage. Bur that's minor.

The breakfast was amazing, staff were very friendly and accommodating. The shower however was missing tiles and had mold. Also, the floor needed vacuuming. But, I had a safe for my valuables and they cleaned my room well every day.

First of all thanks to hotel to allow us early check in . Location and view from hotel is 10 on 10 . National museum is 2 minutes walk way .Hotel staff were really fantastic and kind , can communicate in English. They are providing buffet breakfast which is very decent.

Need little bit maintenance in bathroom area . We just noticed our blanket was not good . They just provided only 2 small bottles of water when we checked in but after that they have not provided any water even if you’re paying high prices.

The hotel is located in the heart of the best area in Cairo, where you can enjoy a pleasant walk.

I took a trip to Cairo with my mam to take part in our Egyptian friend's wedding. We stopped in this hotel (my friend also recommended it), wich location was perfect: city center, in Tahrir square, in front of the Egyptian museum, near to a lot of historical sightseeing places (Hanging Churches, Citadel, Old civilization museum, Cairo tower etc.), some of them could walk on foot, others by uber up to 15-35 min. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food in its restaurant delicious and with big portions. In the evening the area became very populated and noisy, people going out with their families and friends to eat out, drink coffee/tee, walk and enjoy. The surrounding area was full of banks, shops, fastfood (Wardet Beirut, Mcdonalds, KFC etc), restaurants.. We even took a trip to Alexandria, which we booked by Booking.com as well (tour operator: Trip Egypt) and it was perfect (8 hours from the hotel and back, 5 star driver and guide). Our stay was very safe and we could enjoy our trip to Egypt. Thank you for positive emotions!

Superb location, right in the middle of Cairo. The hotel had been recommended by friends and lived up to expectations. An excellent breakfast was provided which included both Egyptian and Continental choices. All of the staff were extremely helpful. In particular I must mention Omar on reception who went out of his way to make us welcome and our stay comfortable and Reda who cleaned our room spotlessly and always with a smile. The room was large and comfortable, with a safe and good storage facilities. The mosaic floor of the shower was most welcome as it made for a reliably non-slip surface.

The shower went cold and hot for a few seconds every few minutes. Other than that I cannot fault the hotel.

Hi.I would like to thank all staff there as they are so helpful and sociable.Actually,the help you in a proffesional way with a nice smile and you can ask them anything related to Cairo.So,you can enjoy well your stay and save your money and time.In addition,the restaurant and Cafe there provides a variety of food match all tastes.Moreover,all tourist attractions,restaurants,travel agencies and other shops are so close to them by walk.I am going back to Cairo next month and i will book again with them.All the best

The location is the best thing at this place. You’re close to everywhere in the city center. The restaurant of the hotel is the another brialliant thing.

Frontdesk didnt accepted our dollars because of the old version dollars, and they didnt accept because of a tiny tear. So that i paid with card. I checked in, but our room doesnt have slippers, and not quite cleaned. But on second day, they cleaned the room well. Also everyone at traffic use horn at cairo, the place was quite noisy but its acceptable cuz of the location.
