I reserved two room and requested Nile view , renovated rooms and high floor accordingly but I surprised they gave me in swimming pool side and lower floor .when I told them my reservation Nile view as usual they talk a lot to convinced me that rooms were best actually they work for their own interest not for customer satisfaction.

We had amazing views of the Nile and we could see the pyramids in the horizon which was unreal ! The room was big and specious and the breakfast has a huge variety! We also ate at the Italian restaurant of the hotel and it was very good! The revolving restaurant has amazing views although we didn’t stay for dinner because kids are not aloud there. The location of the hotel is very good and convenient and the place is very safe and pretty in general.

Most hotels in Egypt have this old vibe, but for 200+€ per night I would expect for the bathroom to be more updated. There was visible mold on the bathtub glass divider and the toilet seat was wiggly. Also they only had 1 hand towel, 1 foot towel and 2 bath towels so no towels for your face. Of course you could ask for more but it seemed a little off to not just provide towels for the guests at a 5 star hotel. Also the mall they say there is in the hotel has like 5 stores only.

Pool closed at 6pm. No alcohol served in hotel- this was not made clear before I booked. But 4 Seasons across the road is easy to walk to

Great hotel and location. Needs a bit of updating now but still a good choice. Rooms large, bed comfortable. Great view of Nile and Pyramids in distance. Quiet. Staff attentive. Housekeeping good, made up third bed that was missing very quickly after we called. Pool was nice, relaxing and water warm.

As said some refreshing needed, sun beds around pool are old and stained. No alcohol served here, we knew this and not a huge problem but a glass of wine when we ate at revolving restaurant at top of hotel would have been nice. Not much around hotel (only a couple of restaurants) but need to go downtown for food stores ecc (25 min walk or short taxi)

-Hotel location (not in the middle of the traffic, but still near most of the locations) -We got a nice view of the Nile (our room selection was a King Guest Room with a Nile View - High Floor) The bed was very comfortable. - The bed sheets were a bit old, but they changed them immediately when we told them.

- old furniture and bathroom set, though still doable, also they told us that they are working on re-innovation for the entire hotel (floor by floor) and they are done with the first 3 floors. - They provide water every day, but they didn't on the last day of our stay! - Coffee at the hotel is very bad, the 2nd option is the Nescafe coffee which is also available in the room.

Comfortable stay, gorgeous views, welcoming staff, great location. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Everyone was making sure we were taken care of. Food at the lounge was amazing and the views from the hotel were spectacular whether it was the lounge the pool the lobby entrance or our rooms. A lot of the reviews say it’s “tired” in terms of the room decor which I’d agree on, but it doesn’t affect the experience. Thank you to the staff for a comfortable clean and welcoming stay.

the location was better to see around by using uber taxi, the food was very good, rooms were cleaned, and staff behavior was very hospitable and well behaved. Mainly Miss Marian one of the receptions who supported and helped us during check in and provided our needs by smiling face.

the only matter which had our concern it was during breakfast, in the morning due to crowed of the number of guests, i noticed mismanagement for arranging the tables according to the number of guests. For example, a small family of two people were taking a table of four to five chairs. Sometimes one guest was occupying the table for four people which has to be managed by hotel kitchen staff of hostage mangers.

The hotel is overlooking a wide landscape of the nile , with almost all rooms have nile view , with classic furniture and decorations which gives an impression of it being outdated , however i wouldn't say that , i see it well maintained . Keeping the old touch of authenticity keeping in mind it was built over 50 years ago , it is older than some countries of people who give bad reviews and confuse authenticity with modern built skyscrapers. WIFI was very good and breakfast was varying with touches from different cuisines .a morning coffee in the lobby cafe was always a great start of the day. House keeping was good as well .

The porters in the entrance of the hotel, they don’t manage well the cars + always rushing us & in our last night on Thursday the closed the gate & made us wait out in the car for more than 30 minutes + we got a ticket from the police because of that , they said they closed the main entrance because of having a wedding!!! And we are the hotel guests we had to wait out in the street !!
