Hygiene: tiles in shower had something stick on them, hairdryer was very dusty, napkin containers were very dirty, linens had stains on them. During breakfast we noticed that the tables were not cleaned properly after a guest left the table, plate mats were shaken and put again on the table disgusting.

The Nile Kempinski is a fantastic true 5 star hotel located in Garden City very close to downtown Cairo. The area itself is nice and quiet, on the Nile and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Saad Zaghloul and Sadat metro stations are only a 10 minute walk away and it's also very easy to get a taxi/uber. Note that there aren't really many shops or anything immediately around the hotel. On to the hotel itself, it's certainly an opulent place with a magnificent if slightly small lobby area particularly when compared with the Intercontinental Semiramis for example. I stayed in a junior suite which was spotless and a brilliant size on a high floor with a balcony. The breakfast was fantastic, five star quality with plenty of options for everyone. A word on the executive lounge, this is a lovely place to relax and have a drink or some food. A light buffet lunch and pastries are provided as well as canapes and drinks after 5pm. I'd like to give a special shout out to Samir in the lounge, what a lovely chap. He really took time to chat with me and his service, his friendliness is outstanding. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay here. It has a more intimate feel when compared to some of the other 5 star hotels close by.

I was expecting a high level of hygiene considering the amount we paid. The carpet is old , not clean . The toilet is not clean as per 6 star standard. The towels are overused.

I recently stayed at your hotel from November 15th to 19th, 2024. While I appreciated the assistance from Ms. Abeer Abdel Fattah in Guest Relations, I found several aspects of my stay less than satisfactory. The breakfast area was quite small with limited food options, and the room quality did not match the high price. Additionally, the air conditioning in my room was not working, and despite informing the staff multiple times, it was never fixed. I hope you will take these points into consideration for future improvements.

We loved our stay at the Kempinski Nile hotel. Cairo was our first experience in Egypt and we asked a lot of questions. The staff there were so consistently welcoming and helpful. Sabri and Ahmed Hassan the bell captain were especially wonderful and genuine. The location of the hotel was great, overlooking the Nile and very walkable to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. We also enjoyed walking in the area behind the hotel to try other local restaurants. The rooftop pool had a great view. There is also an ATM on the premises. The breakfast buffet at the hotel’s Blue Restaurant had a wide variety of delicious foods, with made-to-order salmon and eggs Benedict, meats, veggies, salads, pastries, fresh fruit, teas and coffees, healthy smoothies, etc. Our room was very spacious and clean. The large fruit basket in our room on arrival was a very nice and appreciated touch, as was the large slice of birthday cake that they brought up to our room on my birthday. (They had seen my passport.) Our stay was exceptional. We were sad to leave and would love to return some day.

EVERYTHING! Amazing location, hospitality and extremely comfortable. We were traveling with our 2 and 4 year old children, and the staff made sure we were catered to at every moment! Although the rooftop pool was amazing and has a breathtaking view of the Nile, it isn’t really child friendly as we had our two kids with us.

Hotel has a very good location. We arrived late and our family room was not ready. We waited for 1h to finalize everything and it was after midnight. The problem was the transferring data from booking to hotel, and same for payment. I couldn’t pay using e-card, virtual card. Hotel required only physical. But I did all reservations using my virtual card because it’s convenient. So, at night at the arrival day I spent 1h to solve this issue. They cancelled my reservation and did new one. About food: breakfast is good, variety of choice. Rooms require renovation, air conditioners are very old. Beds and pillows are good. Family room is okay but for kids their room was too small. It had sofa, small table, +2 extra beds. No space at all.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The staff go out of their way to serve, help and please the guests. I would like to highlight the outstanding job of Mohamed Hussein and Sabry from the Concierge department who helped us organize all our excursions, sightseeing tours, taxis, guides and everything we needed.. Also Ahmed at THE BLUE restaurant was great. He prepared a traditional Egyptian breakfast for us and was always there to bring us what we wished. The location is perfect, a very safe area and close to most attractions. We definitely recommend this hotel for your best experience in Cairo and look forward to returning!

What I like about this hotel is proximity to downtown Cairo, ease to get to airport, cleanliness and the team who have an impact into your stay. Concierge friendly, knowledgeable, high standard team with the “lady in red” team ensuring your stay is exceptional, not just good, with the front of house team reception adding to exceptional welcome & problem solving. Housekeeping, bar and breakfast staff add to team satisfaction. I went to spa this time and again exceptional. Thank you all the team. You all have an impact into stay.

I did have a slight small issue which was resolved by the butler and reception manager. Exceptional support even with a problem. All resolved.

The stay was perfect! The rooms are spacious, extremely comfortable, and clean. The bathroom is also large and clean, and there’s even relaxing instrumental music to unwind after a busy day in Cairo. The Wi-Fi works very well, and all the facilities are in great condition. The staff is extremely polite and helpful — they carried our luggage and even gave us a room upgrade! The hotel is located in the best area of the city, close to restaurants, shopping centers, museums, and the American and British embassies. It also has an excellent Turkish restaurant called Osmanly — the food was divine! At night, it’s a very quiet place, perfect for sleeping without the city’s honking. I highly recommend this hotel!
