I know the place from the time it was LeMeridien, it's a huge resort, many pools, fresh and salt water. Almost all rooms have a beautiful view of the sea, The rooms are well planned, with a big bath, open to both the room and the back porch which has a separate shower and a magical atmosphere. The room is generally clean and the beds are very comfortable. The food was mostly traditional Egyptian, and had substantial diversity.

The maintenance of the facility is not so-so. Taps are leaking, some handles are broken, the water temperature is good in the morning, but mild in the evening (and although we asked the reception to check it, and they promised, someone will arrive soon, no one came, even after 4 calls). Cockroaches both dead and alive wandered in the magical porch and in the bathroom. The small details make the difference.

We enjoyed our stay in the single-bed room with a lovely terrace. The staff was exceptionally friendly and always eager to assist us. The pools and spa facilities were excellent, and the lush vegetation added to the overall charm of the place. We also had excellent diving experiences organized through the hotel's Diving Center.

Too much plastic. We highly recommend discontinuing the use of single-use plastic bottles and encouraging guests to use refillable water bottles to reduce plastic waste. Food waste is a significant concern, and while it's not solely the responsibility of the hotel, we observed a concerning amount of waste from clients due to the buffet system during our stay.

The Staff were very helpful, respectful and friendly. The Landscape, Resort's facilities as well as the views were amazing. We had Breakfast and Lunch inklusive and they were a very good open buffet with a lot of varieties and amazing value for money. Great idea of having different kitchen Cuisine everyday. You can do Snorkeling directly from Resort's well equipped private beach.

Some items in the room are outdated and need renovations/maintenance. A bit far from the city center but reachable with Taxi in 10 min.

Clean and comfort place with very good staff and the food is amazing with a lot of variety every day a big thanks to chief “ osama yakot “

The location, the design, the quality of food and diversity of facilities so it's truly a resort, a retreat from the world in a very charming way

Overall it was pretty good, the area is clean, room was amazing( we booked Deluxe Sea view but we were a bit far from the sea, but it was fine).

As I mentioned overall was ok however the only thing which disappointed is inability of staff to provide us with bottle of water during dinner or breakfast. They stated that the reservation is including water in glasses only) it was a little bit surprising as for LeMeriredian. As in the end of the day, this bottle costs 20 EGP outside max. I think for the money paid for the stay - it will not cost a lot for management to provide a bottle of water during meals instead of glasses.

Rooms were very clean and luxury with everything working well Also pools and restaurants were very nice

Parking is too far away than front desk and rooms Always need electric cars which need long time to arrange every time you try to go out the hotel. Also swimming the sea is not so good . No coral reefs or sand it's a mix and full of sea plants

The room was overall comfortable, and I especially appreciated the bubble seats near the beach and the pool — they created a lovely spot to relax. The seafood and breakfast options were quite good, and the staff were consistently professional and friendly, which made the experience more enjoyable.

The bathroom in the room could use some maintenance, and the quality of the meat and chicken dishes, as well as the desserts, left room for improvement. Everything at the resort closes by 11 PM, which felt a bit early. Additionally, the beach is quite a distance from the rooms and involves a lot of stairs — a shuttle service would make access much more convenient. Lastly, I found the drink prices to be quite high.

Very nice resort; Beautiful location, south of Dahab center; Nice reef for quiet snorkeling meters from your room; Polite and helpful staff; Good value for money.

High volume Techno music up to 02:00 AM in one night; Proactive maintenance needs improvement: During our 5-nights stay, water flush in toilet had to be fixed repeatedly and they finally asked us to move to another room. Also the AC stopped cooling one night <it is hot in Sinai !> and gaz replacement took some 2 hours. Proactive maintenance could avoid both technical problems.

I recently stayed at Retac Qunay and overall, I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. The location was also convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The only downside was the food—it just didn’t quite meet expectations. While it wasn’t terrible, it lacked variety and flavor compared to everything else the hotel had to offer. I think there’s definitely room for improvement in that area. Despite that, I’d still recommend the hotel for its great service and comfortable stay. Just might want to explore some dining options nearby!
