Absolutely love, love, love this place. We can not say enough about it. The room was super comfortable and we decided to extend our stay for a whole other week and the lovely staff changed rooms for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and there was so much food. Quiet location and really close to the town area. Everything was super comfortable and quiet. It was my husband's birthday while we were there and without even telling them they came to our room with a giant birthday cake! If we ever come to Dahab again, we would definitely stay here. I can not recommend it enough.

We loved everything.

The hotel staff is the nicest always making us feel comfortable and helping with anything we need. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the boardwalk and 10 minutes from the beach. The menu has a variety and the chef is flexible and always willing to change things so that we have food that we like. The pool is clean and in the center of the hotel. Most of our meals we ate at the hotel. Mostly in the restaurant but also by the pool and on the porch outside our room. Anything we needed that staff helped- from renting a bike to getting a haircut. The massage given is amazing!

We have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years and we have never been disappointed. What really makes this place is the brilliant staff and their attention to detail. A delicious breakfast was freshly cooked every morning by the chef Khalid. He took a real interest in what you liked and did everything he could to make sure you had an enjoyable breakfast every single morning. Equally, Sharif, Saef and Karim made us feel most welcome, once again, and did everything they could to make our stay special. We can't wait to go back.

Everything is down to personal taste but personally, there is nothing that I dislike about this hotel. I've enjoyed every single stay I've had here.

here do I start? This hotel is absolutely wonderful. It is spotlessly clean, the food is delicious, the rooms are cleaned daily and if you are lucky your towels are made into flowers, hearts, snakes and elephants! Breakfast is divine, fresh fruit, eggs however you like them, pancakes and falafel with mouth watering cucumber and tomato and soft cheese. The staff are the friendliest, most helpful and genuinely caring I have ever had the privilege of staying with. They are all wonderful, yet a special mention for Shereef. He is the kindest, most thoughtful gentleman and attended to every single need we possibly had before we realised we needed it! He is unbelievably attentive but in the gentlest of fashions. Mohammed too was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he went above and beyond, as did Shereef. An unforgettable holiday, totally made by the outstanding staff. I won’t stay anywhere else when I return to Dahab. May I thank you from my heart for your immeasurable kindnesses.

The staff were all friendly and helpful The breakfast was really tasty and a variety of options. The room (double junior suite) was brilliant, our bed was huge and comfortable. We loved the patio looking onto the swimming pool. The pool was lovely but too cold at the start of March for our 20 month old. It was peaceful and the overall look of the resort was relaxing. We felt very safe and secure at the hotel and indeed Dahab felt very safe.

I can't think of anything

We rarely return to the same hotel twice.. This was our 3rd time here in the past year!! The reason is very simple - you don't need anything else, this place is just perfect! The location is great, right on the border between the city center and the promenade, walking distance from everything you need. Despite that, the hotel is very quiet. The rooms are very big and spacious and so is the huge bed. All rooms have a balcony with a beautiful view of the hotel pool. The food is great! We're very picky eaters but we really enjoy eating at the hotel restaurant and we usually prefer it over going out and eating elsewhere because the variety is great, everything is fresh and made for you on the spot and some of the fruit and vegetables are grown organically in the owners' farm. But definitely the best thing about this place is the staff. The best service I've ever received in any hotel around the world! Sheriff and all the team are truly welcoming, they help you with everything you need and make you feel like you're the most important person there. This is the main reason I will not look for another hotel in Dahab. I almost feel bad recommending this hotel because I always want them to have a room for us. Thank you all the team in Sheikh Ali for another wonderful stay! See you again soon!

I love this place..

Everything, just everything was more than perfect! starting from an amazing breakfast. The hotel is small but so beautiful, comfortable and well organised. It has everything we needed. Room was very good, comfortable and spacious, patio was perfect for morning coffee. Food in hotel’s restaurant is very good, most of all we liked beef fillet with various sauces and mashed potato, also beef sandwiches in pita bread was very good! And the staff. We are travelling a lot, but I’ve never seen such a high level of hospitality. We are so grateful for taking care of us and our children. We will definitely come back again!

We had a great week at Sheikh Ali. The room was comfy and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's a quick walk into the town and seemed quieter at night than the beachfront places. The breakfast was great and the couple of dinners we had at the hotel were also good. Would definetley stay again!

This small and quiet hotel was all I could ask for me and my family– it is clean, it has a great pool, and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful (my children loved the chocolate pancakes and French toast) and the restaurant was good. The location was great too - It is very close to the promenade where you can find lots of restaurants and shops (a few minutes walk). But the best thing about this hotel is the staff and especially Sherif. The staff took care of every request we had, and Sherif organized all we needed – from attractions (Horse riding) and transportation to the beaches (he gave us a blanket to seat on and a cooler full of ice) to the little things like power adaptor and beer bottles opener. The hotel is great, but the staff is the first reason I highly recommend this place. Our family had a wonderful time and we will come back.

We have stayed in Sheikh Ali Resort for a week and I cannot think of a better decision than this. The rooms were exactly as in the pictures, sunny, bright, clean and well designed. The location of the resort is so central, in just 5 minutes walk you can reach the start of Mamsha where you can enjoy the bars and restaurants on the beach. We have been working online (remotely) during that week, which was easy and enjoyable. The breakfast was a meal to look forward to. Delicious, different varieties and fresh every day. The chef Abu Nada had served us well and it felt like being at home. The staff support was extraordinary. They didn’t hesitate to give us help and support whenever needed. The rooms, facilities, cleanliness, location, the hospitality of Sharif and the rest of the staff are what would make us look forward to go back to Dahab and Sheikh Ali.
