10-15 minute walk from the beach located in a one-way street so almost no traffic. The food was excellent. We haven't had so many sea food in even 5* hotels before. Not a huge selection, but really good! You need to pay extra for beverage during lunch/dinner but the price is very reasonable (2 eur for a glass of wine).

The entertainment was really loud and finished around 11.30PM. They were renovating the pool during our whole stay so we couldn't try it, however we could use the pool in the next door hotel which was even better. But it was pretty cold.

The facilities were great, rooms are clean, swimming pool is clean, not too busy and suitable for kids. No vegetarian options on the buffet (chronic in Spain and Portugal) but the staff did the extra mile to accommodate my needs, cooking something specially for me, which was actually quite good. The staff is absolutely amazing.

Beds are a bit too firm. No fridge in the room, without the possibility of eventually renting one for a fee. I've been in hotels which had fridges for a daily fee. Sun loungers aren't adjustable making them kinda useless

Rooms are nice , good walk-in shower, comfy clean beds. The area of Finestrat is lovely

We were half board and the food was a bit hit and Miss, mostly aimed at Spanish so sometimes we didn’t like some of the food . The entertainment in Tropic wasn’t great but you are allowed to go to the hotel Alone in front of the tropic , their entertainment was better (although all in Spanish , so you have to be able to have some grasp of their language )

The Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. loved the outdoor seating area. We know the location so we're happy with our surroundings. Yes its a little walk to the beach, 15 minutes, but the buses are amazing if you have mobility issues. Liked being able to use Hotel Alone as its sister hotel, which had lovely spanish entertainment. Breakfast and evening meal lovely, plenty of variety. Loved the fact that on half board you could choose whether you wanted to either eat at lunch time or evening. We arrived late at night, so the reception guy opened up the restaurant where there was a a table set up for us, with so much food, we have never come across this fantastic service before.

lovely little hotel, We have always stayed in Benidorm but it was nice to be outside of the busy center, beautiful alcove few minutes walk away with bars and restaurants and a lovely little beach. Car parking was easy, the drive to the centre took us 10 minutes. The hotel was lovely its sister hotel is directly opposite so we used facilities at both, good choice of food and clean rooms, overall lovely stay.

We had full board at the restaurant and really enjoyed the food and free wine and water for lunch and dinner , and if someone wanted it was sparkling for breakfast as well.Negative for us was very late dinner 20-22 pm as we had child by that time he was very tired and was ready for bed !Room was clean and refurbished . Hotel is in the quiet location but thats what we wanted. Walk to the beach takes 15 min.Our boy used the pool accross the road (sister hotel Alone).The only one thing we didnt go to its entertainment , it was very late and for older , spanish people.

Very late dinner time 8pm, kid was ready for bed. Entertainment starting at 22 pm and later wasnt for us as well.

The staff were super friendly, the place was spotlessly clean. The food was fine for us. Enough choice. We managed to find free parking. Bus very near by to get to town. Comfortable beds. Clean towels every day and bed made up if you wished. WiFi all over hotel.

We originally booked Hotel Tropic but due to ‘technical issues’ about a week before arrival the hotel asked if we would mind moving to Hotel Alone at their request. Hotel Alone is run by the same company but is across the road. We stayed for 6 nights and it was fabulous! The room was cleaned daily. There are two small double beds in the room and all rooms have a balcony. Reception staff speak broken English but let’s be fair they’ve not had many English visitors for the past two years. Hotel staff were always helpful and tried their best to answer any questions. The food is excellent value. All the usual combinations. Bacon and eggs for breakfast, salads and meats for lunch and various meats and salads in the evenings. There is a lot of fish and Paella but what would you expect in Spain! I would recommend the various types of fish and the Spanish oranges are just amazing so fresh and juicy. This hotel is suited to couples, families and older people. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the ‘vibrant’ Benidorm experience. The hotel is situated approximately 3 miles from the centre of Benidorm in a quiet area. There are plenty of places to eat and drink The beach is approximately 10 minutes walk away and is suitable for families and couples.

No minibar/ fridge in room . No English tv channels. Very little parking on site, so difficulty in finding parking spaces near hotel. Food on the whole was fresh and great choices but was let down by the poor quality of the breakfast fruit juices.
