The hotel has a brilliant central location in this charming city We were there on a Saturday when there is a good street market selling clothes. There are plenty of restaurants offering very good value menus. We arrived a bit grumpy after problems trying to charge our car, but the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable. and the breakfast was good, if you overlooked the brash room.

I think a more traditional, less modern breakfast room, in keeping with the rest of the hotel would be an improvement. There is a great legacy of history in other areas of the hotel and it's such a shame not to capitalise on that.

Thé hôtel had old world charm- just delightful . Big room lovely balcony , efficient air con & blinds. Lots of plug sockets by bed and lots of lighting (too bright for us !) Breakfast was brilliant. Great choice of high quality items & nice service and buffet table was kept topped up .! Good to have secure parking within 100m and the ability to drop off luggage outside eye hotel front door ! Ciudad Rodrigo is a beatiful town & lovely to walk around the city walls before breakfast (breakfast ran from 8-11)

For us the lighting was too bright and harsh We requested a double bed and had two singles The shower over the bath was a little clunky but it was a good strong shower

The hotel exceeded our expectations and looked better than the photographs. The exterior isl old sandstone with cobbled streets surrounding. Cuidad Rodriguez is beautiful and the hotel has a prime location, with lovely restaurants and squares nearby.The room and bathroom were spacious and there was a bath. The buffet breakfast was very good as was the nearby parking.The concierge was very helpful. We would like to return and spend a little longer.

In general nothing to dislike. If I was picky, then would say the dining room is not very inviting, the lighting too harsh, but there are lots of lovely restaurants nearby.

The facade of the Crisol Condo Rodrigo is lovely, overlooking a small square close to the Cathedral. The entrance reception area was pleasant, the staff welcoming and helpful, providing a tourist map and recommendations on where to eat. The breakfast room was clean and nicely laid out with plenty of choice for breakfast.

The bedroom we had was functional and had no character as it was an internal room of the hotel with a window that looked out onto air conditioning pipes. The bathroom was nice and roomy with fittings to look like old brass.

Check in and location were very good. Atmosphere was lovely and staff friendly. Historic building beautifully decorated.

There was only one pillow on the bed and no throw (extra blanket). Our room was over the entrance so somewhat noisy. The walls are very thin, we could hear everything in next room so they could hear us. The layout of the breakfast was poor resulting in congestion - things such as the cereals, fruit and yoghurt not being beside each other, coffee machine being in the corner so that it interfered with other things.

A unique old style in the room made our stay feel special. Very centrally located, good breakfast, and a very kind girl at the reception. Overall a great value-price ratio!

The floor was showing signs of dirt and so the balcony. Would have been nice to have a couple of extras in the room to make a coffee or simply a complimentary water bottle and glasses.

Room was exceptionally clean and had lovely old fashioned decor- keeping in the style of the actual building.

Walls were paper thin. The couple next door were on their mobile and the voices were clearly audible in our room. The conservation lasted til 11.40 pm and then the television was put on. It was hard to get to sleep.

The budget double room means it's only accessible by stairs - not a problem for us but just to highlight this for others

Very professional and welcoming staff. Large, clean, and comfortable room looking out on a beautiful plaza.

No sound-proofing between rooms. You can hear every word and sound through the walls.

Location was perfect. Parking was limited to outside the Hotel but if you got a space the charges were about 1 euro per hour between 10am and 19.30 I think. Otherwise the Hotel could offer secure parking for 10 euros a night.
