Gijón brought the perfect change of pace — lively, full of great food, and still super walkable for tired legs. After days of small towns, it was fun to land in a buzzing city with all the comforts. The stay was smooth, the bed was comfy, and it was easy to grab everything we needed (plus a little treat or two 😏). Loved having the beach nearby and soaking in that mix of urban energy and Camino spirit. A great place to recharge and enjoy the hustle without the stress.

Very central location and close proximity to the bus station. Well organized with lobby on first floor and an elevator. Room keys were retained at reception which was staffed 24 hours. My room was quiet as the window opened to an interior space free of traffic. The bed and pillows were comfortable, as was the bathroom. Good soundproofing, everything worked! Breakfast, should you want it, was ample, good and under 5 euros. Service started at 8, good for pilgrims on the Camino, and served by a nice lady who made an honest cup of strong coffee.

The place was a bit worn and would benefit from a sprucing up.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. It's a little dated however I did enjoy my stay and would stay here again in the future. The hotel is located right on the high street and close to the water front. One thing I found a little weird was that I had to leave my room key with reception when I left.

The people at the reception were really nice, the room was big enough, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The hotel is located in the middle of the city and is also close to the beach/marina. I enjoyed my stay there very much as a solo female traveller.

The walls are a bit thin, you can hear some of the sounds made by other guests. This didn't bother me though.

It was a trip back to the glorious past of the 80ies hotel experience. Everything was brand new from 50 years ago, but very charming. You even need to leave your room key in the reception every time you go out. Nice and attentive staff.

The staff were superb and the room was small but comfortable enough. Old style chic and centrally located meant handy for bus station and our guide from reception was excellent. The 3 of us were very happy with the pilgrim value.

Air con in the room was a ceiling fan which we couldn't switch off so we couldnt charge phones if we turned room power off but the superb staff and value was everything

The hotel offers everything one needs while on the go. Bad was confortble, friendly staff and very helpfull , thr location is very central..i enjoyed my stay and would definilty stay there again

Wireless internet was not good at all!

Great location in the middle of town and friendly staff

My room on the top floor required climbing up one flight of stairs, as the elevator terminated the floor below. Not a problem for me but some people might have issues with the climb

Great service from reception, very professional and helpful. The room was as pictured and was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Loved the chair with a stool to put my feet up on at the end of the day walking.

Just a small moan that the bath wasn’t full size.

Location, location, location A very well kept hotel, very clean, nice staff.

It doesn’t have A.C. and that is bad because you can’t close the windows and all the noises of the street get in including the late night and early morning people going and coming out of the so many nearby places where they serve alcohol.
