Our flight was delayed and we came late around 4 AM and dinner was waiting for us. The employees were very helpful and we were able to communicate easily in English. We took half board option and it was worth it. Food is various and tasty. Room was clean, fresh towels every day, and had good soundproof insulation. The hotel is a few streets from nightlife Center, you don’t hear party noise, but you can hear people coming back and yelling around 3 - 4 PM.

Very polite workers, especially in the restaurant. Loved it! Good location. Possibilities to eat, to shop and swim. You’re literally in the centre. Great diner! Cheap prices for drinks.

The bar: The worker asked us to wait a bit to take the order and forgot about it. Afterwards he just decided to ignore us for 30 minutes like we were not even there. We waited for nothing and just left. The parking: Pity that there were not enough places by the garage of the hotel. Reception informed us about the two places nearby, but ourselves we found another one few minutes further waking, that saved us 10 euro per day. So better do your own research then rely on recommendations. The room: It did not disturb us but we still can’t get why there’s a huge window from the bathroom to the room. For what reason. No curtain, no any possibility not to wake up each other at night if someone needs to go to the bathroom. Weird design solution.

The staff is very friendly and there is always someone you can turn to if you need help (for example planning an excursion or buying tickets). Most of the staff there speaks Spanish and English, but also a little bit of French, Russian and German. The hotel provides parking spots underground if you come by car. There is also a bar and a canteen that offer a variety of drinks and food to any liking and you will most certainly love all of it. The location of the hotel is optimal: it is very well placed in close reach of the bus station, the beach, the main shopping street, the city centre, a hospital and a supermarket (Novavenda) just a few meters from the hotel. Apart from that, there are of course a number of restaurants, cafés, bars and everything you need practically just around the corner. When we had a medical emergency, the staff was quick to act and was very supportive in the recovery process. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bertran and would choose this hotel again. Thank you again to the whole staff of Hotel Bertran!

There is only one minor inconvenience we would like to point out and that is the noise isolation of the rooms. Of course, nobody can be safe from noisy neighbors but it is simply something one must be aware of when going to a tourist destination.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a variety of food and very tasty. The location was perfect, walking distance from everything!

The lugagge room is not safe at all! Anyone can have access and it is very easy for someone to take your luggage.

- Very small fitness center - The water in the shower sometimes became boiling hot unexpectedly - The safe in the room was not working - While the location is convenient, it can also be a disadvantage due to the noise, especially at night

The staff were unbelievable! Marie Carmen and her team in the restaurant especially Lidía & Rodrigo were fantastic! The chefs were all brilliant, food was lovely all week. Nice variety in the buffets. Location is great near the shops and the beaches.

The pool area is quite tight for space but the service makes it worth it!

The hotel is in a great location. The pool, the cocktails, the kindness of the staff are excellent.We were able to stay in the hotel on the day of departure and use the pool. The luggage locker also includes a shower, which we were very happy about.

The junior suit room is not enough for 3 adult.

Nice location quite central to shops cafes etc and the local bus stop is only a few minutes walk away. Comfortable beds and pillows. Brilliant showers and hot water. Friendly and helpful reception staff.

Noise from other people staying no sound proofing could hear everything had to be asked to be moved because of it, which the hotel kindly done for us much appreciated, food a bit repetitive too especially at night but still tasty.

The hotel is very cosy, stylish and good for staying during the vacation. 7 min walk to the central beach, 3 min walk to bus station which is good because we drive by bus to other city beaches which are more beautiful than central one. The breakfasts and dinners were perfect.

Unfortunately, people can’t drink or eat their own food on the territory of the hotel, only to buy at the bar.

The breakfast i thought was amazing. Fresh fried eggs if requested and they had nice baked beans! A large varied buffet style breakfast l. 10/10. The staff were lovely and the food we had for dinner was great value and tasty. Pretty close to everything including the beach. The room was very nice and clean. Modern. I will stay here again in the future!

The pool was freezing but thats about the only negative really. Forr €55 a night its amazing value.
