The hotel looks beautiful with lots of style, it has very comfortable beds, okay breakfast, a free gym, free parking, a modern TV and a useful room layout. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Oh yes, also got room in the groundfloor (a first!) which was ideal. Lovely wholegrain bread at breakfast.

For all it's beauty, this hotel is an empty shell. The services they used to have, restaurant and spa are shut and nobody knows what the future will be. Clients ordered takeaway pizzas and used the microwave oven to heat up things from the adjacent petrol station. Gym is free but has a very limited offering. The location is surrounded by car showrooms etc, the nearest eaterie KFC is ten minutes walk and as the weather was very wet, we didn't bother. No boardgames, books etc. The town of Lorca is stunning but it's quite a bit away from the hotel, prepare to drive or walk for a good while. On Sunday there was bacon at breakfast, on Monday not. The minibar and fridge had been removed. Plug in sink leaked all water away. Shower in number 19, long story..

I do not take breakfast in the hotel now but I have done several times in the past. The problem was that the variety of food was so vast and good quality that I always ate more than was good for me. Good that I had elastic waistbands in my trousers. I must give a special mention to the receptionists at the Amaltea who are excellent with nothing too much trouble to keep the clients happy. Also the rest of the employees are also very good and always greet you with a smile

Nothing at all to fault at this hotel, thus I have made several visits this year and already have more to come.

The location may be off putting to some being close to car dealers and other businesses but when you walk into the hotel all that is behind you. Very friendly and efficient receptionists always welcoming. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast is optional and good value for money at 8 euros. Several supermarkets and eateries within 400 yards. A short walk and you enter the city of Lorca and all it has to offer with so much history.

Nothing to not like for me, that is why I keep coming back.

Second visit in four weeks and returning next week. Ideal for me living just thirty minutes away and a change of scenery and so much to do and see in Lorca. Also the prices stay the same all year round. Grocery shopping is available in supermarkets within 400 metres. Breakfast in the hotel is served between 6.30am and 10am. It is buffet style but there is so much to choose from I doubt very much that you will go hungry.

There is only one thing that is maybe a downside and that is its location, adjacent to a main road but it is set back about forty metres. The rooms are all double glazed so you do not here much from the traffic and the speed limit there is just thirty kilometres per hour.

I did not take breakfast at the hotel. I usually have an early morning walk and use one of the local establishments in the town called Spacio. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent with a very good variety of food, but if I take breakfast there I always tend to eat too much and then have to diet when I get home. Excellent service at reception when a crisis occured one evening. Football was on but there was no remote control for the tv. A new remote was provided within 5 minutes. Crisis diverted.

I do not think this hotel can be improved much regarding facilities, cleanliness, comfort and friendliness of the staff that work here.

umpteenth break at this establishment and always a delight to be here. as ever a warm welcome by the receptionists. well worth paying for the breakfast. good value and really good selection. very nice gardens surrounding the hotel. five minute walk to the outskirts of the city. several supermarkets within five minutes walk. lorca has much to see and plenty of history.

I love this hotel and that is why I come so often so I can't fault it.

The location for me is great. Only a short walk to the main road through the city where you will find all the shops, cafe/bars and restaurants. went to the visitors centre and obtained a street guide for walking to all the historic sites in the city and also a guide for cyclists which gives a little more detail. Breakfast is really good.

I have been here several times before and used the swimming pool but looks like it is not going to open at all now. That is the only downside to the hotel. I am returning again in the coming weeks so will find out if it is closed permanently.

Another 3 nights at my favourite hotel. Very professional and polite receptionists at check-in and the rest of the staff also. Very enjoyable break in this city with so much history about it and so many places to visit. Good breakfast with a wide variety of different foods and drinks.

If it isn't broke, don't fix it. I like it just the way it is. Nothing to not like.

This hotel is like a second home to me now. Welcoming receptionists. Very quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast for just 8 euros. Large room with very comfortable bed and view over the gardens and pool. Good location for me. Will be returning soon.

The location of hotel was good for me as I like walking and it was only a short stroll to the city centre. The breakfast was very good and well worth the money. Excellent selection of food and drinks. I have booked several more breaks at this hotel over the next few months. It is only forty minutes drive from home so is ideal for me.
